Does anyone else feel a sudden dark sadness when they begin to realize just how fast time is moving..? It seems it was just yesterday that i was coming home from school on my razor scooter, running straight to my family PC, turning on my dial up internet, and watching this video on repeat... And now here I am at 28 rewatching this as a sudden wave of nostalgia pulses through my veins. It seems older me has forgotten what it's like to feel such passion and joy over something as simple as a dance. I'm grateful to have shared this core experience with everyone else watching this. We all shared the intensity and rush of the music, the dance steps, the energy, the coordination .. it was surreal for each of us and as an entire collective, i think we are blessed to have been able to enjoy it all.
