- If you want a compact SUV that stands out from the crowd and offers premium quality for a not-so-premium outlay, then the Peugeot 3008 is a family car that's worth trying. The current model is the second generation, which was launched in 2016 and facelifted in 2020, but Peugeot has given it some more tweaks to keep it fresh for the 2022 model year.

Thanks for watching, too!
Great review. Huge jump in price from the standard 1.2 petrol to the hybrid models. Would love one but it would take years to make it pay for its hybrid capability - green issues apart.
Thanks for the feedback. In fairness, there's a big performance jump, too, and buyers have always been willing to pay for more performance, so it's not purely about going green. ^ Shane
I have a diesel 1.5 3008 and just love driving it. I bought it this year. It’s 3 yrs old with automatic gears. How much is the allure model in the plug in hybrid. When I change cars in couple of yrs I would definitely stay with this Peugeot model of a car as so comfortable but wud like to go greener if I can afford it.
The Allure model with the front-wheel-drive PHEV system starts at €46,995 in Ireland at the moment. ^ Shane
@@CompletecarIe Tnks Shane. Pricey.
I'm like you. I have a 2022 3008GT HDi (2.0L diesel) - jusrt purchased it (it was a demo model) - got it at a great price. In Australia we don't have the infrastructure yet so I bought the diesel because I know the engine is super reliable.
You mean 1.6 diesel engine, there is no 2.0 for 3008 @@allanbriggs807
