I have a similar board but mine is the dark hero I was hoping to maybe put something in that second times eight PCIe five slot with this card.... I didn't realize how much thicker it was than the other cards
So you don’t have to use that trash abundant looking cable 12vhpwr cable that the 4090 comes with right cause it’s taking up so much space for me and it’s killing my cases aesthetics
If you have an ATX 3.0 or PCIE 5 power supply, it will come with the 12VHPWR cable for the 4090 and you won't need the adapter that comes with the card.
@@itcarecomputers thanks man, ok so the answer is no. Rgb external control has to be active on the gpu. For example gigabyte control center does not allow external control for rgb. Actually my sapphire 7900 xtx on his trixx software has the "external control" option, so that I can control rgb colors and effects on the gpu with the phisical controller on my case (an external controller). Motherboard software like gigabyte control center does not allow itself to be driven by external rgb controller. In fact for example on my gigabyte aorus master motherboard, both the rgb panel on the mobo and the two rgb ram modules can only use colors and effect from control center itself and NOT the ones coming from case external controller. Instead the sapphire 7900 xtx DOES, because it is a feature of the gpu itself. So that's what I was asking
Cooking Dinner with intel. I love it.
I just bought this gpu today. what a beast.

Was you the smell of burning from a new video card? I have a very not pleasant smell from the video card.
Does the GPU have "Coil Whine"?
I am not sure but there was no noise of coil whine during full load on gpu
Hi, does it allow external control for rgb?
Yes you can with mother board software
