If the rain stops, theres water tension in the tube. Gently tap the base and mushroom to make the bubble rise up. Also, once a month or so, run full with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar for an hour, dump, rinse, and use as normal. Dont put oils in water unless the manual says you can. Some of the less expensive ones cannot handle the oils.
