Excellent! Gives a glimpse of how hard they worked at it, and the attention to detail in the phrasing and whatnot.
I've been searching for stuff by and/or with L. Shankar for ages. I don't suppose anybody has film/video of him performing any of his Touch Me There pieces?

@judgeofwar They are just being awesome musicians the way it used to be done, with nothing more than their instruments and creative talent.

This music is amazing. But I can't see how's Shakti an amalgamation of the Western and the Eastern music. All I hear is Indian music completely overwhelming and taking over, while the Western idioms take a back seat, if they're present at all. McLaughlin can play the hell out of his instrument, but in this formation he's subjecting himself to playing Indian music on a Western instrument.
