Growing up we were all so close. A whole street of boys that ended up becoming brothers. Now im 40 and one by one they are all gone now. Them and the memories of them often come to me as i hear my own childrens voices drifting down the street with their friends. It fills me with happiness, sorrow and a longing for Ludlow.

Blindness 182 was a favorite band of my two oldest sons; one of whom is getting married soon, and the other is in jail. Their dad died in 2008 from cirrhosis. My boys were still teenagers then. As their mom this song hits hard; maybe if we had a do-over things would have turned out better. 😢❤
