Same thing with me and it was so close to heart that I don't regret the way I wanted to die. I still don't see why anyone would care about a Muslim who saw the other side of the argument in religion and was defending the ones who helped me more than any soup kitchen or church

Well for me it's just a reminder of my past of abuse and how I thaught what if I just killed myself but I never did because that's just a cowerds way out and how would I get to heven if I did go suicide, it was more like mental abuse I was only 12 and my father had been abused time and time again night after night but I was just cowering in my room as she threw guns fists and many other things, took away his job his backup home and then we couldnt escape she had us pinned but we made it out after about 2 years of that abusive relationship and were starting over he may have lost his well paying job but know hes gonna be a tug boat captain and make decent wage again and I will become a lawyer to serve justice were need be, for I dont want this fate to fall apon anyone else
Me too Steve! My brother and I both. The message is so powerful. I just found them today and was the third song I head and stopped everything I was doing to hear everything and read the lyrics. It hit me pretty hard
I think the music is loud like stress and loneliness screaming in the ears of the victims. The voice is softer like that slight whisper that tries to be heard from within. That you wish could be heard as if it were screaming. My niece was a victim of suicide 2 days ago. I found this song just now. Coincidentally, everything i just said was similar to that of how she must have been feeling. All the fighting between family made it impossible for her screaming to be heard. Funny how this particular moment, the silence is the loudest noise that rings through our ears when someone loved, dies. Thank you all for reading my vent session. Thank you band members for this song. I wish I found it sooner.
So sorry to hear that brother, that must be so hard. So many people struggle and we want this song to urge people to hang on. It's funny you say that as the lyrics in our other song says "the silence seems so loud, when darkness clouds my mind". Silence can be blaringly loud sometimes. People are scared to admit they struggle or just aren't heard, so we want to write music to raise awareness to that struggle and remove the stigma around mental health issues. We live in hard times. We all need to be acknowledged, heard and met with compassion. Much love friend ❤️

As someone who's not only lost people to suicide but a survivor of suicide myself this song is so powerful and it's given me strength when I need it, when I feel everyone's turned their back to me I listen to this song and it's helped me through this journey of life and it's even helped me find peace at night and sleep soundly

This song makes me feel somewhat better. Recently, I lost my close grandmother. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) last year who lived to watch me born, and after a month from graduating High School, she lost her battle to the cancer (I was so happy she was able to live through to see my graduation). Me & her used to bond & watch planes (we both loved aviation). She also introduced me to classic metal rock music. Not long after her passing, my whole family is losing the house & the car. I recently been losing hope that a miracle will happen & been getting real depressed. There was even a time where I had to take a week off my job to figure out what to do.
After hearing this song, The words "Hang on one more night" plays through my head, telling me that there is going to be a miracle. Slowly, things have been going back to normal-ish. As long as I hear this song & I keep talking with friends & family, I think I can be ok. God bless you guys for making a song that makes me motivate through my life during this hard time.
Thanks for sharing your story. That sounds beyond difficult. Sometimes miracles take time or things work out in a different way than we expected. You're not alone though and it's good to hear things are going back to normal-ish. Hopefully it continues that way. I'm now a year and 8 months safe of both self harm and suicide urges. My scars a reminder that I hit rock bottom below the waves yet emerged bloody and broken, bruised and battered but I emerged and climbed up out of rock bottom. Hang in there if you're struggling. Damn this hit me so hard...... I've been struggling with fibromyalgia osteoarthritis CFS muscle neuropathy anxiety depression you name it. I lost my job a week before Christmas when I got my results from some memory testing I had done. I've been struggling with depression and mental health for most of my life. I about ended it all before my daughter was born. If it wasn't for her son being sick that day I wouldn't be here. Not even a month or so later my brother tried to kill himself. He barely lived and had changed his life around. Was a horrible alcoholic always had anger problems and was an atheist. He's doing better than he ever has been. Thank you for this song! I'm sending it to him. I about had tears in my eyes

Between October 2020 through March 2021 I have attempted suicide 6 times. So this song deffinatly reaches out to me in a way that was very helpful. Every single day all I ever wanted was something terrible to happen to me, but it never happened. So for those who are struggling just hold onto hope I promise theirs an end to the emotional pain.

So I don't have huge problems like some of the other people commenting, but I do often have dark thoughts that I can't talk to others about. This song is quite positive and motivational for me. I'm glad I found it, I needed this.
Everyone struggles with that at one point or another, there's no shame in admitting that. Glad to hear our music has helped 🙂
I hope you're doing well. I have troubles talking to people with my dark thoughts especially face to face. I know everyone is different but my medicine for getting it all out is through poetry and writing books. That's just me personally.
