You guys have it all backwards, Zack has said from the beginning he wanted the black suit. This still wont be the first draft he and Terrio turned in but this is the exact film he was making before, perhaps some differences using ADR but that's it. Also Snyder was not at CC, that was a fan run Justice Con with only JL peeps.
Hey guys, the Justice League clip was shot by Snyder. It was included as a deleted scene on blu ray, but it was Snyder's scene. You can tell this by looking at Cavill's face (no CGI).
I think you mean Spider-man: Stuck at Home. It's about Peter Parker being quarantined. Aunt May commits petty crimes around the house to relieve his boredom, while the Avengers hold Zoom meetings to discuss work from home progress
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH (hence the capitals) HOW MUCH THE ATLA COMICS ADD TO THE EXPERIENCE. I haven’t gotten around to Korra yet because when it came out I had “grown out” of cartoons and now that I’m back into that stuff, of course, it’s not on Amazon anymore. HOWEVER, THE ATLA COMICS ARE SO MINT AND I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT JAMES READS THEM AFTER HE FINISHES THE SHOW. I HAVE READ THE FIRST TOO SO FAR, AND WILL FINISH THEM BEFORE I START KORRA AND I THINK YOU SHOULD TOO. THEYRE NOT HARD TO FIND AND ARE SUPER ACCESSIBLE AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT MAY LINGER AFTER COMPLETING THE SHOW. Thanks for being a lit podcast, I swear I’m not a child for using the word “lit”. Cheers, kobi. PS. I deemed this necessary to email you too lol so yous better see this.
I think you misunderstood Zack Snyder in regards to the black Superman suit. He explicitly said he chose a version of the Superman suit that could more easily be recolored in post in case DC/WB decided to let him do a director's cut at a later date after they objected to its use in what was supposed to be his theatrical cut
just to way in on the star wars thing quick, but John Boyega might be the most liked actor in the sequels. Like, even in parts of the star wars fandom that think the sequels are the worst thing star wars has ever done (like/r/prequelnmemes) the general consensus on him is that he is a really likable actor who played a character that had a tone of potential, but was just absolutely squandered by the writers
You guys definitely need to give Utopia more of a go, as with its premise, it has made some predictions that have since come true... but overall its very well thought out and can be quite touching, plus the US remake is being helmed by David Fincher, which is pretty significant..
Funny thing about the Shark Boy thing is. That there was this wrestler named Shark Boy who wrestled for the promotion called TNA. Who ended up making a decent amount of money due to that movie coming out. As I guess the studio didn't look into it. But it turns out that the wrestler trademarked the name Shark Boy well before the film came out. So he took them to court over and and I think they settled out of court so I would imagine he made a good chunk of money from that.
I honestly forgot Comic Con happened this year. In past years, it was the main event where everyone goes there and talk about the new trailers that just dropped. Now, it kind of just came and went. I guess with everything going on at the moment, it's hard to get excited about anything new.
if you wanted to have a live answer my question thing, you could probably do kind of like a Reddit AMA but in reverse while you record? or maybe a private one with the big sandwich people?

The justice league bluray deleted Superman Alfred scene is not a joss whedon scene. It was shot by snyder. He actually finished filming in feb 2017. The original script was rejected so they didn't shoot it. So Snyder and terrio rewrote the script, which they did shoot and finished in Feb 2017. Now the reshoots are to turn it into the OG script.
If you want something to follow up Avatar, James, check out The Dragon Prince. Same head writer, similar themes, has 3 seasons and has just been picked up for the final 4 seasons, and just won an Emmy!
It is pretty good, but it has a lot of growing to do still. I'd say it is on par with some episodes of avatar season 1. But it hasn't reached storytelling heights like "The Storm" yet.
South park is still Amazing! The latest season (in my opinion) is easily the best animated comedy on all of television. Actually out of all the comedies I've seen animated or live action in the past year South Park has been the best & most topical/relevant comedy on tv period. The show doesn't get nearly as much credit as it deserves anymore all b-coz they had 1 lack luster season when trump won & it pretty much ruined the entire season & everyone gave up on it after that it seems like. Every time I hear someone bring them up on other UA-cam channels some1 always goes, "Oh, South Park isn't good anymore." or it fell off or isn't relevant or etc. etc. Then some1 asks when the last time they saw it was and they go, "Oh, idk like 5-8 years ago." It's ridiculous. If you haven't seen it in years & don't know anything about it or how good it is now then don't talk about it & say it sucks. Sorry for ramblin, you guys mentioned it & it reminded me about all that so I thought I'd yell at my keyboard about it. Ok, I'm done. P.S I like turtles
Snyder wanted the black suit but WB said no. So what they did was they used the red and blue suit but they secretly tweaked it so they could go back and easily switch it to black in post.
Snyder said a long time ago on Vero that he filmed with the Red and blue suit because the studio didn´t want the black suit. So he shot and changed the suit slightly so they could recolor it in post (Not CGI) easily. You guys should do more research, so annoying seeing big youtubers misinformed.
@@ghostparker1987 i did. Snyder is not changing the movie to please the fans, he is making changes to his original idea. The studio made him change the Steppenwolf design and use the classic suit, but he he changing both for this version.
How has nobody mentioned Maso badmouthing Utopia? Its fucking brilliant, and alot of us are still dying for the season 3 wrap up it so rightly deserves!
WB didn't say no to the black suit because they didn't want to shill over money. Snyder is very good at staying in budget. WB didn't want to suit because it was "dark." So what they did was alter the original suit and for a director's cut, they would change the colors to black in post production (because the color change would look the best with that altered suit). Snyder wasn't lying when he said that lmao.
53:50 Zack Snyder said that WB executives refused to put Superman in the black suit because they believed it was too dark and edgy, wanting the movie to be more cheery and fun. So Snyder had a specially made suit that would be easier to turn to black and white in post if he would be able to get WB to change their mind or if he got a directors cut. This also explains the black suit Cavil posted on his Instagram back in 2016.
not to be "That Guy" but the Black Suit superman scene was not shot by Whedon it was done by Snyder, they were simply trying to include some of snyder's scenes as deleted scenes to get hype for the bluRay release. but we know its a snyder scene. Because 1. no terrible mustache lip. 2. Snyder he would only use footage he shot. 3. there was a clip of this scene in a trailer before reshoots had started. "Let's Hope you're not too late" remember that? Anyway not trying to be a dick love the channel. I listen every week.
Yeah, Utopia is not a comedy. Its a conspiracy thriller that has a very vibrant and brutal visual style; also the music/soundtrack is outstanding. It is quite intense though.
jesus guys... get your info right... it's not a Whedon scene, the deleted scene was always a Snyder scene... and secondly, he didn't have a panel at Comic Con, it was at a fan event called Justice Con, basically dedicated to the snyder cut, which is why he didn't show much (not an official event) but still showed up and shared something with the fans.
I call bullshit on the whole black suit thing. Why would he come back in track pants and shirtless to fight the Justice League, to then go off and get the black suit to talk to Alfred, to then go off and get the red and blue suit to fight Steppenwolf/Darkseid. And before people call me out and say he'll be wearing the black suit during the fight which should have a different ending where Darkseid wins if it is Snyders original cut, why would he then change back to the colourful suit as Injustice future superman?
When I first watched Solo in cinemas I thought he did a great Lando because he sounded/acted *exactly* like the version of Lando I had remembered in my head. But re-watching Empire/Jedi again recently I realised they're actually quite different and I was mis-remembering and extremely exaggerated version of the OG Lando. But it's weird that Donald Glover perfectly matched the wrong idea I had in my head.
