@rolandharmer6402 a very big thank you Roland. Yours is the first Super thanks I've had. It's good to know my content is welcomed & enjoyed. You have made my day. Cheers!!
@@Merseywailso true they all looked museum quality mate I hope with this switch to zero emission we still can se these machines in action imagine an electric Routemaster I bet someone is planning it for the day we have to switch
@marksinthehouse1968 that's a worrying thought. The old vehicles might be able to run but will anyone still be producing fuel. If all old vehicles could be converted to electric somehow, it wouldn't be the same though.
I remember the Birkenhead & District Bus, they were a short lived Company and not to be confused with Birkenhead Bus Company that ran until being absorbed into the MPTE (Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive) in the 1970s; the Birkenhead & District Bus ran in the 1990s.
Thanks!

Yes nice bus .last saw it at the Shildon rally in 2022. All the buses looked good at Skipton. A credit to their owners

@@gburns671 yes part of the bus wars period. Interesting times for enthusiasts but frustrating times for passengers.
@@Merseywail Yes it was, it was nice seeing that bus in the film though.
The West Riding Leyland Tiger definitely the best, mind you considering where my home town is I could be slightly biased!
@@keithclark681 I was impressed by them all. Especially as I don't get to see some that often round Merseyside. Really enjoyable show
was gonna go, devastated i didnt, mostly because of the leyland lion which has been in all creatures great and small >:(
@Northerner_Transport_Hub you missed a great rally sadly
