Hey Tom, admire your desire for excellence, your simple enjoying the run and also your love for your family. One of the things I like about ultra running is the connection between all the participants and the mutual respect, where the pros know that even the plodders like me have put alot into being there and leave alot out there on the trail. Hope that you will always have that so that I can look forward to meeting you out on some trail.
So amazing to watch this after 3 year with you now have won the Western States Endurtance Run! Congrats again ... Great athlete and an amazing guy! Greetings from Germany!
Really nice to see some different content to the usual ultra 100mile guys/gals Really enjoyed this story and look forward to watching more of your story.
It's amazing, the life of An ultra runner athlete. Ive been a huge fan of David Goggins for a while now. I always loved running myself. Hope u recovering well.
Hi Tom. I’m obviously late to this video and indeed finding out about you, funnily via another video you did about the Terrex shoe you helped develop. As a former CVR T operative and Grunt, I full appreciate your history and obvious future. Best wishes and I look forward to following your success. Mark
The Red Bull product placement is so funny. No subliminal messaging here. Well done on the running and the videos are good too. Great production which doesn't happen without a great deal of effort.
Mr. Evans 🙂. Firstly, congrats on your 3rd place WS 100 finish 👍🏃🏻♂️. Secondly, I noticed during your race, you had an ice-handkerchief on your neck pretty much the entire race. Did that really help with the cool down process during the race ? I found that quite interesting 👍. Thanks
@@tomevansultra It's just the tone of the video. E.g. "Who the hell is Tom Evans? I am Tom Evans and this is just the beginning..." I've never seen such statements from other star runners and you obviously are one of the best so I think you don't need them at all. That was just my impression from the video, but you have of course my greatest admiration for what you've accomplished. Don't let the adidas copywriters mess with your image :)
Martin Woska You don’t appear to know much about how sponsored content works. The brand pays for the content and they usually dictate the style, script and final edit. I’m pretty sure that content will have been scripted totally by adidas. Just watch the WSER100 film to get a comparison and you’ll see more of what the guy is naturally like I’d suggest as it’s not branded. Then maybe make a judgment of his personality. He’s comes across as a very humble guy and unassuming guy. But whatever you do in life there will always be haters too!
