MahaKumbh 2025 has seen a grand spectacle, with over 10,000 devotees affected by the cold during the sacred 'Sangam Snan' (bathing at the confluence). Sadly, four pilgrims lost their lives. To provide support, a massive temporary hospital has been set up at Sector 9 and 10, equipped with 100 beds, 10 ICU units, and 50 types of free medical tests. In just two days, over 7,000 patients visited the OPD, with 132 requiring ICU care. The extreme cold has led to heart attacks and lung infections for many.
