I don’t think that the stadium impact affected Lyon for a second in this game. Lyon is a powerhouse and household name. They have been here more than any team and won. In France, their fans barely come to watch them. I think it’s their club culture. Two years ago in Turin, Barça fans outnumbered Lyon fans, yet Lyon beat Barça. I think that Barça has matured in two years as a team including their coaches. Little Jona, like the fans call him has learn his mistakes from the past. At Turin, Barça arrived at the final physically and mentally exhausted because they were chasing stupid domestic records of not losing a game the entire season and a lot of these players are both starters for both club and country and also fighting their federation. This season, the coach has learned to rotate players properly while keeping starters fresh for important games.

For the US team, note that if the draw had been different, Chelsea went and beat Barcelona in Spain in their first of the two legs of the semi. Imagine if that had been the final?

This really has to be said. Barcelona has 9 players on their team who play for the WOMEN'S NATIONAL SPANISH TEAM !. 9 PLAYERS!! That means for the whole season these 9 national team members play and practice together . There is no draft system in Europe, the rich teams buy the best players. It's a system European wide that insures Europe retains all world cup trophies! The Spanish women's team plays all season , together and also practice together on the allotted time for all teams in the world to practice, which just incidentally has been reduced to 54 days per year from 58.days or so. It's a loophole in the governing laws , which Europe takes full advantage of. Could you imagine if all of the top players were on 2 American teams just how great the USA women's team would be because of all that practice together. CAN EMMA HAYES OVER COME THOSE ODDS???. WE SHALL SEE....

Just as well Team GB already got knocked out of European qualifying for the Olympics? Netherlands, who put them (as England) out on goal difference, lost in the next stage and are also out. Yeah since I believe if Barca won Champions league Spain will definitely win something in next competition I don't know if this was coincidence but when Barca lost the CL 2022 Spain also lost euro and then Barca win the 2023 CL Spain winning the world cup after that😂😂😂
That doesn't even include Sandra Panos, Pina & Patri who rejected the call to Selección.
You forget the importance of the academy. The Spanish youth teams (U17 & U19) in the last few championships have had at least 5 Barca youth players in their Starting-XI.
At senior level, Spain manager often play with 5 or 6 Barca players, 2 former Barca players like Jenni/Codina/Aleixandri (now Ouahabi has rejoined), the rest are from other clubs.
Playing players with the same basic philosophy for many years will make the manager's job easier.

One thing I can't stand, is "Queen" Alexia, full of arrogance, do a low sweeping bow, towards the crowd, as if she is a Prima Donna at an Opera and she has done it on more than one occasion. The goal scorer is just the very Titanium tip of the spear. Some body got you there. Just tone it down. Leaves a bad taste.

Coz you have no idea how football works she Shaw Barca getting relegated she joined barca when they weren’t even professional team she had the chance to join any club in the world when she was on top but barca wasn’t even this season she waited till the end for barca even tho she had million years salary offered which was double of what she’ll make at barca and she was celebrating the goal that sealed the quadruple for club of her life and win against the team they never beaten before
