This is one way to see one face to face. I made the mistake of investigating a hole in the ground that appeared to have a brown dot in the center at night while walking out of the woods in archery deer season in Pennsylvania. I bent down to look inside the hole under a fallen tree and a pair of eyes looked back and I levitated and flew back a few feet when it hit me I was looking in a bear den. I walked out of the woods and kept turning and looking back in case. It really freaked me out.
