I liked the Sliding Scale haha! Great video! Thank you!
Beautiful view for sure ! Great review. Thanks Chris
Thanks Colleen!
I’m all for the luxury hotels. I rather save on other stuff, but not skimp on the hotel. The hotel experience is at least 50% of my overall trip enjoyment.
Thanks again, Chris, for a great video.
Thanks Alex!
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ROOM. I WOULD STAY THERE. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION ON THIS ROOM. KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK 😁👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks Tracey!
Super video 😉👍❤
Used to be the Sheraton 4 Points and we stayed there twice years ago. It is a great location!
THANKS FOR THE TOUR
Thanks Linda!
Hi Chris. Thanks for the hotel review. Very nice and clean hotel. The Australian breakfast looks good. The location is great, but I wish there were more dining options around the hotel. Take care.
Thanks James! Yeah.. its a bit of a hike to other foodie options
Awesome job chris
Thanks Adam!
No problem
I've stayed here Chris, it's very nice and breaky fabulous 👌
I quite enjoyed the breakfast!
Hi Chris thanks for your review,i wonder if you can do me a favour,i am a Baywatch fan and they did an episode where they all stay in a hotel in Sydney overlooking the harbour and bridge, the pool also overlooks the harbour and bridge which is oitside,i was wondering if you might happen to know which hotel it was they used.Thanking You.
Hmmm.. not sure Brian!
Thanks for the upload. Looks like a very nice commercial, hotel of the type you find everywhere now. If you want “luxury” there are much better options in Sydney. 😊
Yeah. Like the Park Hyatt 😀
Also, you don't need to have breakfast there as if you cross the pedestrian bridge and go into the Harbourview Shopping Centre, there are lots of options to eat. Plus lots of choices near the hotel.
Thanks for the tip
Agreed that the Park Hyatt is crazy expensive. There are other quality hotels in the Rocks area that are so much cheaper. I'd like to know what the Park Hyatt offers to justify their exorbitant prices.
Seems like a well property, however, I didn’t see anything from the amenities you listed that put it into a “luxury” range. This was a thorough review, my only question is what was the noise level from the street/harbor like on your floor?💛
Hi Joyce -- pretty quiet in my room actually... but I think the harbor side is the quiet side
Interesting to see you clad in BLUE, Chris (at least for most of it…)…Curious, when were you here?
I recorded this when I recorded my Sydney travel guide. Around October
I'm not getting a "luxury" vibe from the hotel or room, especially the bathroom, which looks like one at a Courtyard Marriott 😕 The breakfast buffet is $42 Aus dollars or about $28 US, which isn't bad for a Hyatt hotel. Overall, it seems like it should be a Hyatt House or Hyatt Centric rather than a Regency.
Yeah... certainly not at the level of a Hyatt Regency in Asia that's for sure... but still a decent spot for a stay in Sydney
Does this hotel charge a resort/destination fee? If so what comes with it
Nope... no extra fees... though they do charge extra to pay by credit card
Looks nice but for me, Sydney is like any other major city. If you stay anywhere in heavily touristed areas like Sydney Harbour, especially near Circular Quay, you're going to over pay. The place is basically Australia's version of Plymouth Rock in America. I recommend staying instead in a nearby suburb, such as Chatswood. Short train ride to the harbour, just as nice hotels, a reputation for excellent food, and much less expensive. It also has its own mini China Town.
It worked out for me. Walking distance to the convention center 😉
@@YellowProductions Fair enough. I lived in Sydney for a short time years ago, so I like to point out hidden gems that people wouldn't otherwise be aware of.
Hey Chris do you have UA-camrs you get inspiration from and or watch their content regularly?
Hmm... Probably the one I watch most is Chris Broad on Abroad in Japan
@@YellowProductions so very niche and specific to Japan. Got it
How do we find the review on the suite?
Coming out tomorrow :)

I'm searching job a waiter in Australia pls. Help me 🙏
That pricing is actually pretty decent for a Sydney hotel! Even the absolute worst of the worst nightmare locations in the heart of the city will set you back at least $100 a night (we're talkin' shared bathrooms between 10 rooms, free-roaming druggies and beds held up by literal bricks).
You sound like your describing the apartment I lived at in Macquarie Park 10 years ago, when I was there on a working holiday visa lol

Hello
I would never stay there ! Over expensive also bathrooms are not clean shower tiles was dirty had a hair on them and rooms are very small ! $ 42 for breakfast ! Totally rip off !
So meriton is more expensive than this and is more popular rooms are nicer looking
