Not once was the Jedi under the assumption during the meeting at the Jedi temple in the show that they were after a Sith. They only mention if anything “a rogue Jedi” thus not breaking any lore or retconning anything.
Also the script for the acolyte was approved by Dave Filoni.
@@ColDylanG Sure, at the time of the meeting, they didn't discuss anything about a Sith because they didn't know what they were dealing with. However, don't we, the audience, know pretty well that the Sith will eventually be mentioned in the show? That must mean that, once there is a character to be revealed to be a Sith, Ki-Adi Mundi must not have been made aware of it. That's the only logically explanation I can think of that doesn't make him either a liar or very forgetful in Ep 1. Or I suppose there will be reason to believe that the villain character isn't actually a Sith, and we're just being lead to believe so so far.
Also, him being included in the show is inconsistent with his age and when this show supposedly takes place. Just doesn't seem very well thought out. Maybe there is more to be revealed that will clear these things up.

I would really love that. As much as like a high budget fan project is respectable and cool, I think Star Wars is in a state right now where I just need to laugh at it and low budget skits with purposefully stupid costumes and hilarious skits is really what I need these days. I don’t need serious star wars content anymore. I think there’s some real potential here to keep making more!

The sith are a race and also any jedi can convert to being a Sith. It's a big galaxy so not eveyone is going to know about the rule of two. Could be a horde of the rule of two's at the opposite ends of the galaxy. How would they even know about each other? Sith can cloud the force and stop other from sensing them.

I'm very glad you got the whole point that the Jedi were in denial about the Sith's return that they were so sure of themselves and that they truly believed the Sith were gone. Its a wonderful explanation as to how almost the ENTIRE order was eliminated. It being Mundi in the Acolyte is even better showing that even 2 dead Jedi and seeing the recordings of a dark side aligned force user is not enough evidence to make them believe the Sith could ever be back, I'm sure that Mundi even believed that "The Sith have been extinct for a millennia", The Jedi are so scared of their enemy that they'd deny the return of the Sith, to believe they'd stomped it out.

From his point of view these would only be the cases he knew about. There could be even more, even if we ignore previous generations. Either way Anakin being born of the force wouldn't be a sign he's the chosen one, since it’s happened several times before without the resulting people being part of the prophecy.
