Dance crews in the 70's & 80's was serious! They ain't play and would stay ready so they wouldn't have to get ready! Never fighting or shooting, dancing was their weapon.
and they were all very good at making sure that everyone had nice matching outfits...Turbo is wearing a band uniform so you shit's about to go down. R.I.P Shabba-Doo
What if the cops showed up during the dance battle and arrested everyone and the next morning they saw the judge and the judge asks "Alright, who popped and locked first?"
Seeing that they filmed this in my uncle’s neighborhood just brings me joy and to see how different the 80s was to now, also the WF tagging in the back js makes it more authentic and beautiful… R.I.P my scrappy dogg💙🕊🙏🏽
Yeah, I remember back before North / South / Blood / Crips rivals, it was about cities and areas you claimed, gangs would have dance offs else play football against each other (big family / friends' festivities), there would be fighting sometimes, BUT never any weapons. Then hardcore gangster rap came in mid-80's and those events stopped. Maybe I'll blame in on the music...or that movie --Colors-- Warriors LOL
Térible < H.I.P/H.O.P
Unfortunately part 2 absolutely minced the authenticity of part 1 Mainly because of Hollywood influence, but hey we all gotta get paid somehow. RIP OZONE & POPPIN TACO
Talking about? The 1st although somewhat cheesy is still considered a old school hip hop classic. It ain't no Beat Street, but it still touched millions of fans world wide.
Imagine how many of our kids would be alive today if teen angst was handled through dance offs.
О чем Вы говорите, является истиной! Политики разжигают войны и конфликты, а простые люди черпают всегда жертвы, убытки и покалеченные души после!
ВОЙНА ВСЕГДА УЖАСНА !
TKO!!!

Nowadays Dance groups are about Arrogant people with God Complex, Drugs, Shooting, Sex, Fights, Murder. We are really in pathetic times.

@@rokstedy7152 OK you're right :-) My favorite is still "Wild Style".
@@lunarmodule6419 oh yes Wild style set it all off 🙌 👍👏👏👏
@@rokstedy7152 A friend invited me to see the movie. It was in very small theater. But wow I was instantly hooked!
