In "Gerald's Game", Bruce Greenwood (Roderick) plays Gerald. Carla Gugino (Verna) is his wife Jessie. Henry Thomas (Fraud-erick) is Jessie's father. Kate Siegel (Camille) plays Jessie's mother.
Im not sure if you guys have noticed but the light changes whenever Verna is torturing one of the kids: Perry was Red Camille was Silver / White Leo was Yellow Vic was Orange Tami was Green
Asides from the green imagery in her death, I think the mirrors are so significant. She seems to have had so many problems with her image of herself hence the mirrors all over the place and having to watch someone else with her husband to get off. It was like she projected self-confidence but she was very very much insecure.
Yup, Verna even mentions it during the climax. Something about how Tamerlane constantly attacks herself - all the cuckolding/voyeurism was some way for Tamerlane to hurt herself by seeing her husband be with someone who looked like her but better. A characteristic that their father placed in her by constantly pitting her against Roderick, and even though she was better than Roderick, her dad favored his son more so constantly moved the goal post for him - making her feel like she's constantly not enough.
Omg Cojo...I am losing it with laughter with you shocking yourself with the not grounded mic... and doing igli's voice " you have to wear slippers.".....I can't stop laughing.
i’ve rewatched this show multiple times and tamerlane’s presentation still give me such bad secondhand embarrassment lmao but her death scene is beautiful, the lighting and the framing and the slo-mo, ugh 🤌🏼
The Goldbug story has nothing to do with this episode. Instead we should look at the story 'William Wilson' (which is the name of Tammy's husband): Once there was a boy who really wanted to make a name for himself. He's vain, he's greedy and he hates his real name, hence he calls himself William Wilson. One day he gets a new classmate who is actually named William Wilson and he looks exactly like the narrator. He walks like him, dresses like him. The only difference is: William only talks in a whisper. Strangely enough Narrator is the only person who thinks they look alike. He and William Wilson quickly become rivals, fueled by envy and jealousy because William is kind, friendly and adored by classmates. The boys grow up and go to college and Narrator thinks he can start anew, but William Wilson is somehow always nearby, exposing his fraudulent plans (like cheating at card games), ruining his reputation and love life. Naturally Narrator soon has enough and during a party he takes William to a chamber where he stabs him to death. He wants to flee the scene of the crime, but a mirror catches his attention. In this mirror he sees himself: bloodied, pale and looking like a corpse. His reflection starts moving on its own, telling him that in his envious rage, he has killed himself.
hi there, so each of the usher family members represent a deadly sin. (perry - lust, camille - envy, leo - gluttony, victorine - sloth, tammy - pride, freddie - wrath, roderick and madeline - greed.) each of them have a color assigned to them to represent a certain aspect of their personality and to give them distinctive traits. that's why tammy was green, victorine was orange, perry was red, and so on so forth. those colors could also be linked to the seven deadly sins, but i'm unsure about that. i just wanted to let yall know because i think it's interesting! you can always look up what mike flanagan himself said about the show, he's very active on tumblr and he does a lot of interviews.
I'd say Tammy is envy (speaking for itself, I guess, she was paranoid of there being a better version of herself), Victorine is pride (although I'm not entirely sure, except she never confessed her own mistakes and would pretend she's doing great) and Camille is sloth (her work is dependent on other people and even then she has her assistants doing everything for her).

for Christmas we all get to see Bev die again
Juno is Roderick's wife. She explained it when she met the granddaughter.

Merry Raggedy Christmas boys! 😁🫶🏼🎄
Merry Christmas 🎄
The Raggedy House is starting to sound like a Saw trap!
Goldbug is a cool story about codebreaking and a treasure hunt, but it kinda has nothing to do with this episode other than the name of her company
For me the codebreaking is figuring out how to introduce the brand, the treasure hunt is about becoming profitable.
Christmas episode 😮🎉🎉🎉
Coming up on the end 😿
i really love that sword weapon. does anyone know what it's called??
