Driver pulled out of burning car by lifesaving heroes

- A driver’s life was saved after being pulled out of a burning car by a group of brave people.
Minnesota State Police said the driver drifted off the road and struck a light pole and then a guardrail. The driver could not escape because the driver-side door was pinned against the guardrail.
A group is seen working together to pull the door open while others call emergency responders. The driver is pulled out through the car window just before the car is fully engulfed in flames.
State police said the driver did not suffer any injuries. The scenes were captured on a car’s dashcam.

What is really strange, is that US is probably the only country left in the World that does not require a fire extinguisher in a car. Also, amazing, that commercial vehicles just passed the burning car. Every commercial vehicle has (by law) a fire extinguisher. I guess it is there for the looks. Kudos to the brave people who, though.

Brave indeed. I would not have blamed them if they stayed away from the fire, but they risked injury to themselves to help the driver. They all need a medal. Well done.

The guard rail doesn’t run the full length of the highway.
