Bro they literally had this before where mercy had 45 heals per sec but it doubled whenever a character was under 50% and it was so cancer I can’t believe they’re making the same mistake again but it’s blizzard

Honestly a version of this that’s unique to each hero would be super cool. Something similar to the upgrade perks in apex that can sorta change up your play style depending on who your fighting would be incredibly useful. Does sound like it’s more stuff to balance but honestly I think it might be good for the game.
the way paladins does it is way better IMO, letting you augment one ability to be your "stronger" power.
e.g cassidy could get
dextrous - you have 2 roll charges, but roll reloads 3 bullets instead of 6
sharpshooter - critical eliminations reload 1 bullet into the magazine
delayed charge - flashbang explodes a second time for 30 damage 3 seconds later, (no debuff or lockout on the second explosion)
It kinda adds the ability to counterswap without actually counterswapping... I think the devs actually cooked with this. Finally I can 1-trick ball and not have my entire game hinge on sombra existing.
@@RematodeRanger I only played paladins a long time ago but that system does sound better. Can you change them mid match? Is paladins still holding up? Only thing I can remember from paladins was how weirdly big the hit boxes were
@@NearyDeadnot mid match, Only before the base countdown gets 0, but somemodes sometimes give you the ability to change ni mid match, More than anything they are rare changes, they recently let play in 3rd person in a gamemode, However It lets you buy in the middle of the game, the items work like these new passives, literally several work the same, for example the speed boost in dps, the decreased coldowns of the supports, the decreased cc of tank, and all of them you can buy them no matter what role you are playing
Yeah it would be sick and surely they have some passives not being used from pve sso they can do it 100% to some heros atleast

@@jonathonnorden4859 It was a thing for years, but sure, the concept of staying quiet if you have no idea is new to you right? Since I've wrote this, I found out what patch caused it. On April's patch, they buffed the health of mines from 50 to 60. Now it's up to you to figure how much DMG Rein pin does just with knock-back..
That thing with seeing health through walls should be a support thing. Because that one kinda reminds me of TF2 medic with Solemn Vow equipped.

I actually love this mode. Having a little more control over how you play certain heroes feels really good imo
DPS and tank passive are fine but all of the support passives are so obnoxious
I hope this gets added to the game. More Customization of playstyles is nice
Heres the wild thing about 20% bonus Ammo for Junkrat, yes theres not much more added, but the additional grenade is actually huge as that leads to most characters health pools being in his mag again.

As a Doomfist main, Last Stand is very good with him. Haven't lost a game since this started. I hate it. I agree that the passives shouldn't have been added to the game. We don't need this to turn into Paladins even more. if they wanted it anywhere it should only be in an arcade mode or, I don't know, a PVE mode.

Passives are good for the game and is one of the things that made OW unique, ROLE passives in the other hand are completly stupid
This makes unpickable role passives look like garbage frankly. Anyways, the unpickable passives didn't even have a good iteration.

the tank debuff reduction has got to be the dumbest, i can just walk around without a problem cause i get rid of any effect after 1 second
