super late but looking at how the guitar part is played and learning it that way ingrains how it sounds into your mind and then transferring over that grasp of the polymeter over to regular strumming if you want to do so (take note of the non palm muted notes in the guitar line and note that those are upstrokes) good luck with your journey to create absolute destruction on the bass!
