- Day two of my trip out to Tehachapi focused on the fire up around Allard, with plenty of trains passing by the curves located between the horseshoe curve and the south end of Bealville siding. As I woke up at 4am from camping at a great campground (located next to a gliderport on the north end of town) I saw the lights of the Monolith cement plant and knew I had to spend some time over there before the sun rose (and in order to charge up my camera equipment and drone at the Wendy's next to the tracks) and thus a few trains before sunset are seen at Summit Switch, a gorgeous location before the sun rises! A train had hit a car in Tehachapi a few hours prior and the main line was single tracked through town while the maintenance crews worked to get the subdivision repaired. After filming several trains around town and getting some light helpers out of Sanborn for the first time (an important thing for the documentary) I headed down to Allard until 2pm to grab some trains! The temperatures were over 100 degrees so I wanted to minimize my heat exhaustion (and actual exhaustion) so I packed up and headed home after a few hours, but it was still a really fun day!
Beautiful landscapes! Thanks for sharing these videos
Thanks airing The outstanding video with magnificent locomotives. Your endeavors are prominent. Bliss
Very unique railfanning
Nice video. These very longest freight trains are very sharpest and greatest.

Excellent video and landscapes! The use of Helpers permanently assigned on this route by the BNSF is a news?
They've been doing it for the last 4 years or so now, one of the first times I've gotten a set
Narrowest countries's freight trains (Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei, East southern Asia, Europe) are shortest and can't transportation to maniest cargos and longest cargos and heaviest cargos than American freight trains.
I want to ask a Question
Where the three BNSF GE ES44AC'S Manned Helpers on Tehachapi????
They were! BNSF has been operating manned helpers for the last 5 years or so out of Sanborn.
Where’s the spot at 44:17
