Yoooo, I _love_ this take on the Tetris formula! It seems to focus more on problem solving than optimisation, taking more concentration to ensure a clean game is rewarded. That's cool!!
@@OatmealCreamPie it's super fun and I can't recommend it enough. it's different enough that you will need to learn it and can't just play it like regular tetris, but once it clicks modes like this one that feel completely bullshit at first become something you can overcome and it feels super nice. getting high on the board and saving yourself by finally getting an out with a big clear will never get old
@@spiffywoahitsspiffy the standard mode takes place on a standard sized tetris board and i heavily recommend getting familiar with the mechanics by playing that before cell mode lol
wow this looks interesting and the aesthetic is refined EDIT: it's funny to me that this board feels wider than it is tall because I'm used to tetris boards being tall rectangles so this doesn't LOOK like a square
@@Patashu this game is super fun and polished yeah. and about the board size in this mode, I'm pretty sure the 8x8 board and round blockskin is a big reference to reversi, which is what the game's core colour changing mechanic was inspired by
wait i acutally think i understand how this game works now, its actually so genius my goodness...?! gimme more gameplay of this >:D edit: the ending theme 12:08 so lovely xd
@@willo90li yeah when I don't play the mode literally called chaos it's easier to follow along lmfao but yes game good, if i get more death difficulty clears on either console or arcade modes i might upload them, as well as I've been thinking of putting out a run-through of puzzle mode just as a guide
I love how the colour requirement for line clears means that you actually have to consider dropping I-pieces on their side
this looks like the weirdest tetris meets othello crossover and i am so here for it
also nice pc midway through
@@Artidume that's pretty much what it is and it's glorious

like a bigger giant tetris sized space, with flipping pieces. finally, a new way for me to be bad at tetris
