Most of the people will think that bidadi idli is the oldest one but that’s not the truth, tatte idli is born in tumkur. It is mentioned in history too by one of the poet of Mysore palace. Tumkur has a history of 500+ years on idlis. I request you to contact one of the historian in Tumkur and explore more tatte idli places in Tumkur, so that people of Karnataka will get to know about the history of idli and tumkur

I am happy to say I have been visiting this place since 2001 during my days at SIT Tumkur. Even now, I made it a point to visit the places near Tumkur and eat my breakfast at this place. Excellent food and people

My favourite eatery of my hometown Tumkur. Owner Mr. Uday Kumar and his sons are very customer friendly and cooperative. We never miss to have Idli/dosey here when we are on this route.
As a food technologist, I always had a concern that getting hygienic and unadulterated food is nearly impossible in today's world but your videos proved me wrong and I think I changed my perception. I am glad that there are still hotels that give priority to quality and hygiene. I have been to Bangalore multiple times in my childhood but never heard about all these hotels except MTR.
