Ecobee Smart Doorbell VS Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 - Tough Competition

I live in a high heat environment. My ring doorbell pro 2 broke off the backplate when I switched from a ipv5 to an 6E router. It required me to take off the faceplate to press the button and then reset it. Well that’s when the bad happened. It broke from my wedge backplate. Trying to get it put back together didn’t work. So I decided since I had an ecobee thermostat and the doorbell could be within -13-113 degree weather. And ring through my HomePod or Apple TV. I was going to just take the leap and get the ecobee. I’m having initial problems with my Wi-Fi connections. But my Apple TV notified someone was at the door. If you’re in an Apple environment I recommend checking it out before getting the ring. You can see video in HomeKit and it’s better than the ring.

This almost seems more like a ring ad than a comparison. Personally I think the Ecobee looks better. The ring may be small but the silver and black combo keep it from blending in. The Nest is the most attractive smart doorbell I've seen though.
