Rex Salazar from Generator Rex could work, since he can make many weapon constructs from nanites. There's also Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, who can also regenerate, is strong, and has shape-shifted weapons though somewhat more limited.
@@itsyaboidaniel2919Alex solos both. The only exception being omega nanites activated rex, as that version is essentially omnipotent, but outside of that Alex stomps them both at the same time.
The writer for prototype 2 Dan Jolley was asked a few months ago whether or not the diagrams in the second game(including the one that has Heller splitting the moon in two) was literal and therefore canon, and he confirmed they are indeed canon. This is because the original plan for prototype 2 was actually gunna have alex evolve to the point he could consume the entire planet. It was scrapped obviously, but that doesn't mean alex is incapable of such feat. The virus was confirmed in the prima guide to be able to infect abstract concepts such as energy, and the comics established blacklight was evolving to the point even technology wasn't safe from it. We don't know the restrictions of blacklight's evolution or if it's like shin Godzilla in that it doesn't have any restrictions at all. Whichever version of prototype 2s story we use, alex was always destined to be a beyond planetary lvl threat. Krauser had literally no chance in this fight. Edit: a whole ton of new information just came in a few days ago about prototype which is nuts. Balrog blaze who is a power scaler found some written statement from RADICAL officials as well as a recorded text conversation from Dan Jolley himself. Balrog found a way to scale Alex to multi-galaxy lvl and beyond due to what appeared to be Alex moving the sun itself. Balrog asked Dan whether or not moving the sun was a genuine feat and he confirmed it indeed was. Alex was canonically confirmed multi galaxy lvl in power as ridiculous as that sounds. Written statements of how co-op was gonna work in prototype also confirmed Alex can basically duplicate himself and control multiple copies of himself. Imagine a literal clone army of beings who were multi-galaxy and beyond in power.
Even if he had a way around mercers regeneration that still wouldn't kill him. Mercer isn't a host to blacklight like vs mode suggested, he's the blacklight virus itself. So long as the virus exists, he will always exist. P1 confirmed that Alex spreads the virus everywhere he goes and in the comics he's been across the world. He essentially has a canonical respawn ability.
Alex Mercer in the Resident Evil series would be a near one-sided massacre if he consumed the shit ton of viruses that exist in that verse. I mean seriously, could you imagine an Alex Mercer turbo boosted and evolved after an all you can eat buffet?
2:24 not true actually. Mercer in lore is immune to virtually everything the military could throw at him. Blacklight is like Doomsday from DC, it evolves to become resistant if not outright immune to whatever hurts it. Heller in prototype 2 evolved an immunity to both fire and bullet based weaponry after just a couple of exposures to it. The reason it hurts him in his first game is due to gameplay mechanics. The director of the first prototype also confirmed himself that blacklight can consume inorganic material such as metal and turn it into biomass, meaning all Krauser would accomplish by shooting mercer is making him even stronger.
The director also confirmed during an IGN interview that the blacklight infected evolves to become more and more like the opponents they face, which is how the lower tier zombies can catch up to him despite being literal multi light speed in both movement and reaction time.
Watching the definitive version now is a pure joy for the sight ❤ I remember the challenge on this song to sync the drums with the Vulcan machine gun! Great episode again and can't wait for the next one!
Asking if Krauser could beat Mercer is like asking if a coughing baby could beat 10 billion lions. Krauser is probably comparable to the super soldiers from Prototype 2, they wouldnt go down in a single hit but they're no threat. (Also, Mercer was able to defeat the Supreme Hunter, said hunter was confident they could survive a *nuke* , feel like that should've been mentioned)
He's not even comparable to the super soldiers. The prototypes like Heller could move beyond light and had the combined strength of everyone he consumed, and yet the super soldiers could still keep up with and challenge him. Heck if you put a super soldier into RE it could solo most of the verse.
just a little tip for future animations, I recommend drawing 2 more angles of the characters from the front and back so that dynamic movements like them turning don't look so drastic. I still love your work and think you're doing great but I just thought I'd share the thought
Krauser would actually join Mercer, and be his most loyal evolved. Possibly being even stronger than Heller too. Krauser's philosophy is that he cant be weak anymore. His country betrayed him and he hated feeling helpless too. So him infused with Bloxklight? He'd be the happiest man alive.
Finished binging this show and I'm rather impressed. You got the animations well done and it could only go up, but your research feels a tad lackluster. Some of the characters throughout your fights have been older than the 2000s, like Samus, Sephiroth, Doom Slayer, if you could do more research and see their history then it could be better. Other than that, you have a promising future.
He did mess up some of the research. For example, Alex isn't harmed by military weapons, blacklight in lore and in the gameplay of prototype 2 evolved to become outright immune to whatever harmed it after just 1 to 2 exposures. It could also absorb inorganic material such as metal, meaning shooting alex would actually make him stronger. That being said he did a good job with the results here.
He doesn't just solo, he literally no diffs the entire verse. No one in the re verse has the means to kill mercer for good and all of them are susceptible to blacklight consumption and infection as it works on the molecular lvl, to which the re viruses only work on a cellular lvl.
@@samgourhan207 It would honestly be more of a draw, mercer isn't a singular entity, he's the blacklight virus itself. So long as the virus exists, he will always exist. So long as there even a single molecule of blacklight in the world, he could always comeback and resurrect himself. Meanwhile alex can't do anything to alucard since he can only die by human hands, to which mercer or his infected isn't human.
Who should the winner of this fight take on next?
MAYBE ALBERT WESKER

Result makes sense. Krauser doesn't have a way around Alex's healing factor and was vulnerable to consumption.

I genuinely didn't expect Alex to win but it makes sense after you explained it. This one is phenomenal. Great usage of their arsenals.

He easily wins. Lol
Totally awesome premise between 2 very capable opponents. Great job!!

Already this video is far more accurate than anything on the Death Battle Channel.
This is probably my favorite fight so far! 💯
Just wait for the next episode 👀

great fight! the graphics are phenomenal
