I had an idea for a Gravity Falls movie, set five years after the events of the show, called Return to Gravity Falls. Dipper and Mabel are about to head off for college, Dipper a tech school and Mabel an arts college, and decide to make one last trip to Gravity Falls to see old friends and watch the solar eclipse. Meanwhile Bill, who was resurrected when Stanley regained his memories, has quietly been biding his time for the right moment to reemerge. The two Stans have returned from the Arctic and meet up with Dipper and Mabel at the Mystery Shack, still owned by a now married Soos and Melody and their three year-old daughter, along with Wendy, home from college, and McGucket and the rest of the town including Susan, Toby and Mayor Tyler welcoming them back. The town is excited for the eclipse, which Stanford explains to Dipper, Mabel and Stanley temporarily disables the weirdness bubble but it's nothing to worry about. The next day the eclipse occurs, and Bill breaks free from Stanley's mind and retakes his physical form before racing away to wreak havoc on the world. Meanwhile Robbie and Tambry are away touring as a duet band, Pacifica and her family regained some of their wealth and are living elsewhere, and Gideon is also away having dedicated himself to helping others to make up for his misdeeds. Now Dipper, Mabel, the two Stans, Soos, Wendy and McGucket must travel the world, reuniting with the others and form the zodiac circle in order to confront a much stronger Bill and defeat him once and for all.

This show. My favorite. It sadly ended in 2017 and now we have all hoped for more. There might be more, there might not. But this show topped it off as much as it could. Even as of right now we have no clue if this will continue. But as fans, we must continue it ourselves. Make the show better by spreading the imaginary future that we make for ourselfs

Why now ?
I think if gravity falls does come back I think it should be about dipper and marbles kids. The cousins don’t get along as well until they are sent to gravity falls spending time with soos and Stan and Ford they are old but healthy and haven’t aged because of Ford. The cousins end up discovering all the adventures their parents did. This may cause them finding out about bill cipher,finding the statue and leading back to his return as he said in a backward message during his death.

Ok so dipper and Mabel are all grown up and move to gravity falls to presue their careers. dipper to start training with ford and Mabel to kick off her art career. They’ve also come to see an eclipse with their friends and family. Melanie has moved to gravity falls by then and she and soos have a toddler named josh. We also find out that bill is back, and that they didn’t fully erase him from stan’s mind. Dipper and Pacifica meet up again and Mabel starts shipping them(😂) she makes them take a walk in the woods and they start dating. Mabel was stalking them tho. When dipper starts his training with ford, they find out that during an eclipse, the bubble of weirdness magnitude is popped for the time and bill can come out of stans mind and gravity falls.
