Yes really to the question how much money one need for a trip we always say there are two sides. How much you need to spend and how much you can save while travelling
Just late with my comment...saw yesterday night "enquête exclusive " talking about how terrible and dangerous Belize is. Truth is that when you travel this beautiful country, meeting this beautiful people, multicultural, nothing is far away than what we are shown and told on TV. I know this country well, I love it. Glad to see you also did. A Swiss fan of your channel.
Yes we know.... we got warned against Belize... So true what you say, danger is a reality in some areas but it cannot define an entire country. it is such a great place
I agree with the nice comments about Belize. Just an observation: when you see a sign about crocodiles you have to believe that they are the apex predators. You were on a low level jetty looking for them! It’s a wonder you still have your limbs intact. Take heed for when you visit the northern parts of Australia! Cheers. 👍🏻🙏🦘
It’s so good to see Belize through your eyes and to hear how friendly and welcoming the people are. Mostly I’ve seen Belize listed as a dangerous place to visit by European governments, but it just goes to show most people the world over are friendly and helpful. I think the Belize tourist office will be promoting your video 😊 I loved the way Nick build a few rocks in a small river to help your Defender to cross and also your tiny hideaway beach 🏝️
yes it was super calm from what we saw. the main town has bad reputation but that s where we met the amazing sabido soo.... it means nothing I guess. and country side super super calm
You two won't let anything stop you. You cram more into a day that most people experience in a month or more. Thanks for sharing so many amazing days of travel.
@@NextMeridianExpedition … always .. missed not having a way to watch your videos there for a bit . But will be catching up soon . Kind of fun being able to see several during a week . I can only imaging the strategizing that goes into getting the fantastic and varied video shots! The outcome is excellent, interesting, and fascinating content. Thanks so much, Mathilde and Nick. Safe travels!
You move so fast. Sitting in Chetumal watching the easterly breeze ruffle the Caribbean we can’t make up our minds to leave Sunday…or Wednesday..? Belmopan was created to be the capital after a hurricane sixty years ago wrecked Belize City. I’m enjoying reading about the country before we get there. It’s an interesting place. Did you notice they don’t import any beer? Beliken only! Hmmm
This brought back memories from my trip to Belize. We flew from Houston to Belize City and then took a commuter plane to Punta Gorda. We also went snorkeling and explored a cave. It's a small country but a special one. I enjoyed this video.
Great sea life video, so glad Nick's knee help up during the under water excursion. I admire your adventurous nature. Thx for providing a relaxing time which i enjoyed with a cup of coffee while watching my grandson play. Safer Travel in Guatemala, Take Care.

Very impressed with your pushing forward on that overgrown tract to the falls. Cannot tell you how many times I have done that and the winch and shovel came into play! Love your efforts and video! Be safe!
Belize looks lovely. Nothing like I imagined. As you seemed to swim in every bit of water you came to, I was very relieved that you didn't take a dip in the crocodile lake. Great video again.
Hahahahaha that day it was 42 Celsius … we actually thought about it but I really hate crocodiles and water was blurry so I opted a bucket on th r head
Thank you for showing us the beautiful ocean and sea life. It definitely reminds me of the Florida Keys and the Everglades and Caribbean islands I have been to. I love the Caribbean feel.
