Thanks for this but what is the advantage of using the fill command over just simply using Edit>Inpainting after making the selection? The shortcut for this on Windows is Alt+Backspace
I need to learn multiple easy ways to remove simple and detailed Backgrounds since we Do Not Have A Really Simple automatic background remover YET. Affinity folks please don’t ask us to pay extra for an automatic Background remover, we should have had this tool quite sometime ago in My HUMBLE OPINION…

What about making a request as a customer on their site ? If many people are doing this, they may consider adding that feature.
