i think i would buy the insta - as it gives so much scope for upgrades and different things. its like having many cameras in one, with all the things you can swap out and adjust, depending on what you want from a filming session! :)
Looking deep into the dark woods you can see way more into the shadows with the Insta360 One RS. DJI has nice colors, but who cares since it has way too much sharpness and contrast which gives away that it’s an action cam. It’s all about DR and fix colors in post.

Honestly if your after the absolute best video quality then it’s GoPro for the most features and best usability the the action 3 is my choice appreciate the comment 👍
I really want to like the One Rs but there seems to be no aftermarket for it. Can't find ND filters, can't find the boosted battery on their website. Just seems like the aftermarket for it is non-existent
I have an Insta360 Go2 and One X2 and skin tones look the same as the ones from the One RS. Very surprising given this is a 4K camera. I was expecting a better image. I’ll be sticking with my GoPro 10. Nice vid mate!
if you have the chance to choose again (without needing the 360 feature). which one would you choose today? (GP10, RS4k or Action3)? I'm looking for a main camera for arm-length recording and helmet mounted shots. thanks
@@papercut1987 I’ve been very happy with my GP10, goes with me on all my trips. However, the Action 3 is a solid performer and has the advantage of Bluetooth mic capability. Can’t go wrong with either one. 👍
@@MGriffin2501 price of new action cameras increased a lot in the past year. For what I could find locally, GP10 gives the best value (gp3 @300 cad, action3 @500, new units are all above 600 after tax 😓)
I have insta 4K and 360 kameras (2 pieces of them) and I love them, never let me down, no overheating, many editing possibilities. battery last over an hour ( I still have 5 batteries just in case, when I`m all day outdoors). The only one thing that sucks is audio quality. look like camera reencode audio in some 96 kb/s mp3 and it`s noticable bad. I did buy ext mic Boya and Saramonic but it`s the same..
Insta 360 for me although both are better than the GoPro. The 360 just saves a lot of work in post edit so just edges it for me. I'd have either though to be honest.
*I love the Insta360 I saw the One RS I IMEDIATELY bought it and then swapped to the X3 lol but still I love that 4K Book Lens and Not to mention 5.7K wide screen but the modular is what I love about the insta360 not to mention the App Connectivity is Much better IMP but I did a few reviews myself and Still Have my X3 and won't be getting rid of it anytime soon. One RS have the best video quality at the market of all action cameras, regarding sharpness and is even better than gopro. Osmo Action 3 is best regarding batterylife and also in cold weather.
Just had to add when you said gopro have best image quality, ONE RS is way sharper and doesn't look oversharpen. And gopro doesn't have good focus for distance.
Must say, oa3 have the overhand in the moves you make, Quick light shift, sharper DR in low light, do find it waw in foggy and some cloudy days. Do pull in more. Can not see what any1 need a lego brick
Great video as usual but having looked at the side by side the rs definitely looks overexposed. I usually run my ev at -0.5 to -1.0. I’ve also just realised that I haven’t seen a video from you with the 1” mod attached. I keep wanting to bite the bullet on one but I know there were some limitations with it. However, since insta keep updating the firmware and bring out the rs core I don’t think I’ve seen anyone review this combo. Could you do one please?
Hi. I'm a DJ Im planning to buy one of this cameras for videos at the studio or even for clubs, i want to know which camera will have the best performance in low light mode when its something like a club, if someone knows or use it for this purpose i will really aprecciate a feedback :)
the new insta360 ace pro is amazing for low light, but if you are specifically after one of these cameras then the action 3 is slightly better in low light!

Yeah I agree, the boosted battery has never been available, hold fire I expect new releases soon

Action 3 is the clear winner
One RS have the best video quality at the market of all action cameras, regarding sharpness and is even better than gopro.

You say they are basically the same. Where do you plug in an external mic on the insta 360?
The usbc port with an adapter bought separately but which allows you to use any microphone not just usbc compatible mics like the dji
I have both and I love them.
It is also easier to match colors between Insta360 ONE RS and Action 3 that it is with Gopro.
