Awesome, i didn't know how intricate this bass line was! It's like it's lost in the mix of the recording.. Some of these old songs should be remixed so you can actually hear what's going on. It's like they used so much compression and are poorly mixed where the guitars sound like thin vague artifacts in the background or the bass can be barely heard behind the bass drum. Great job covering this, well done!
Awesome, man. Would be amazing if you play other JA tunes like Young Girl Sunday Blues. You're one of the only ones i see playing Jack Casadys basslines on yt.
Great cover! Loved it! You nailed it. Have you ever considered doing the bass cover to Dire Straits "Sultans of Swing"? It has a great bass line and I think you'd do a super job with a cover. Keep up the great work!
Awesome work on this Jason. Love the tone. It's one of my favourite bass lines and I've always wondered how to play it. Think I'll have to give it a shot now thanks to this tutorial. Can I ask what make/model of bass you play in this please?
Jason Great transcription and fantastic playing. Great song. Would you considering transcribing You Keep Me Hangin’ On by Vanilla Fudge - Tim Bogert Thanks Frank
This is both overplayed, with everything getting double- plucked, and missing easy stuff, such as the clear repeated octave strikes just before the instrumental outro, which this guy plays as all one pitch. Something might be the best available (faint praise) but be way off. @@GoofyJamal-jt4ph
GOD DAMN! I had never realized how fucking amazing this bassline is
This dude hammers out the best transcriptions I’ve seen.
Intense! I'd forgotten (or maybe never realized) how much the baseline DRIVES the song on this one. Fantastic job!
Jack is my favorite bass player of all time. Thanks for this chestnut!
Incredible transcription and articulation of Casady's playing. Not to mention tone. Just wow.
👏👏👏. . . Excellent work on Jack's dynamic, unusual chromatic,
rhythmic style !
Thank you Jason, Very Much 🙏❕
Great cover. Jack Casady is one of my favorites!
Best cover on youtube. I think you actually tabbed it 100% correctly
Great Tune Badass Bassline. I get Flashbacks just hearing he voice and that guitar Man, Damn
Well done! Very difficult to hear what Jack is playing but you broke it down nicely, all the hammer ons pull offs and triplets, thanks!
Flawless.
Loving the tone too.
I always wanted a hollow body but can’t justify buying one.
Sounds awesome!

Another ripper, Jason, kind of embarrassing how far my $24.95 is going here!
Can you please do a cover of the medley that comes in the album "Live At The Fillmore - February 1969" by The Byrds?

Damn! That was great!
Close,but no cigar
Why in the word would tab for this thing be selling? Awful.
These are some of the most accurate tabs on UA-cam. Chances are you’re playing it wrong.
