Great video. Long time Notre Dame sports fan and have visited the campus many, many times since the 1960s.. But my favorite times on campus were when I visited as a Saint Mary's College and Notre Dame dad. Love thee Notre Dame.
To the creators of the video: the painting of Father Corby that you showed towards the end of the video was NOT simply at "just some battle." It depicts the real-life (and historically documented) absolution and blessing Fr. Corby -- Chaplain of the Union Army's famed 'Irish Brigade" out of NY -- administered to the troops in the midst of the 3-day Battle of Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863) during the American Civil War. A bronze statue memorializing that event can be found at Gettysburg National Battlefield in Pennsylvania; and a duplicate bronze statue of that event can also be found on ND's campus on the front lawn of Corby Hall adjacent to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Students commonly refer to thje statue of Fr. Corby as "Fair Catch Corby" (for obvious reasons :))
@@Lovenesters Thank you for doing the show !!! ... and always Go IRISH !!! :) p/s If you ever watch the LONG (but superb) movie "Gettysburg" (produced by Ted Turner's studio) from the late 1980s, or early 1990s, it includes a brief image of Fr. Corby's blessing of the troops. He was standing on a big rock.
What is your favorite Notre Dame tradition?
All the pregame activities😊
No matter what happens on the field - the band never loses.

You are welcome. That is such a wonderful place to hang out!
are there vendors that sell food somewhere before the game ?
Yes, Many of the student groups have booths where food is sold that works as fund raisers. There are other options around the stadium.
