I have seriously never seen someone have this simple of a strategy and also teach it me like I’m a 4yo, which is how I need to be taught to understand it! Great video! This is more valuable than the rest of YT throwing all the indicators at you left and right. 😂
Question. When you say 2x , are you trading options? What time frame options are you trading? Does that rule apply to day trading with options if that's what you're doing. Thanks in advance
These past few days watching my crypto portfolio decline is very disheartening. Holding doesn't really profit much. Any idea on how to earn better on the short run?
A very good technical analysis and understanding of price action in the market makes trading easier and less confusing. As a beginner, I strongly recommend a professional for your analysis, she is Ms Selena Mason
'Crypto trading is quite profitable I'll always pick Short term trading over Holding cause I have made a lot of profit from trading different profitable coin.. it is also surprising as I also trade with Ms Selena Mason on a short term basis.....I advice you seek the help of an expert to avoid the trauma of too much losses
.She is also my personal trader, crypto analyst and account manager. With an initial invested capital of $5000 ,it yielded returns of over $15000 within two weeks of trading. I was really impressed by the profit actualised
This series of videos are some of the clearest, simplest and most level headed of any I have come across on UA-cam or anywhere. No Jason Bourne level editing cuts or bombastic overacting pandering to the low attention span slam that like button browser. Just genuine, well considered and communicated guidance. Thank you, sir.
Hey Riley, I've been trading a couple years with some successes and a lot of failures. I've realized I'm just not a buy and hold'er, but swing trader at heart. But I never really understood support and resistance. What an absolutely awesome video. Thank you so much for sharing he knowledge.
Thanks for sharing your strategy. Before I just buy and sell for any level, do it from key level really increase winning rate. Plus you open my eyes trading in ranging market. Your lesson worth $$$$
I need some advice. I understand buying low selling high,, but I have seen a number of trader making a profit when the msrket dips. How is this done and where is the profit made?
Vids are great my guy. Thinking of joining ur program next week. But U HAVE TOO work on ur AUDIO LEVELS. OD low on this one. Can barely hear it on my iPhone 13.
Just noticed in the example at 6:40, it seems like you didn't wait for the push back that almost hit the stop loss, but lo and behold, it has the push back before dropping down. Very interesting once it starts to click. And all the big drops before it hits the resistance... I can see how it'd be tempting to feel like you should jump in there, but it's better to wait it out for stronger confirmation. This one really demonstrated for me the importance of patience, and really following the strategy properly. I could have a little fomo, seeing the previous big drops, but there's little other confirmation in real time. And even if I just got one good trade a day, I'd be happy! So... it pays to be patient! Thanks again :)
I must say that after trading with a high level of frustration over the past 5 years, your simplified trading routine, seeing the forest and not just the trees, has taught me a discipline I now realize I was missing. Thanks Riley! 👍🏼👋🏼👍🏼
There are many great trading tutorials videos, but I really love your simplicity approach which I did part time last year when I just first started. It’s amazing how you answered all questions I had in mind. Finally, you are the only trader that uses the exact simple approach I prefer, and did. But, have you tried on Stocks? I haven’t traded future before and have only traded stocks. I found sometimes it just didn’t go up that much despite from the extreme support,. Maybe because of the recent bearish sentiment from inflation and interest rates data.
Hey Riley i've enjoyed your teachings very much particularly your reversal studies. it seems you base the S/R levels based on the 15min intraday my question do you ever check the daily S/R levels to use in your intraday trades .... if so how about video employing both the daily and intraday charts to determine the best reversal patterns .... thanks again for what you do ... nick
Thanks Riley, you're so helpful I learn a lot from you, I been following you for few years now and I want to thank you for making me a better trader.Much appreciated keep up sharing your knowledge. 😀😇😊
I was starting to learn more complicated Smart Money and ICT concepts, stuff which worked for me for sure, but I also found it fairly complicated. I also started noticing that i'd miss trades one runners which went straight down or up because they didn't give me any signals to enter. I'd see price trending and yet not be able to do anything. So no i've switched back to price action, something to which i'm also new. What I liked about your examples and style is that it's somewhat similar to smart money concepts - you treat your Support/Resistance zones as reversal points much like liquidity in SMC. So i've started doing it this way as well. Much simpler and i'm not missing runners.
Hi Riley, I always struggle to find the best areas/zones. I like the way you find the areas/zones in this video and using the higher time frame, then go to the lower time frame. I have a question if you don’t mind answering it; do you always trade off the third bounce in the area/zone, or would you say, it’s ok to trade of the second bounce?
I will sometimes do a 2nd bounce if the first one was a really solid reversal. Like the market hit that level and sold off hard. Little trickier though.
@Riley Coleman - OK, I understand that. Thanks, for answering. I like your trading strategy, it suits my personality, and it is very similar to what I have been practicing for the past 18 months. I am interested in your course and in joining your community. Can I join if I am from the UK?
Excellent video, thanks for creating it for us. Question: I like trading on a 5 minute timeframe, should I be marking say 1 hour support/resistance levels? Or would you recommend staying with the 15 minute support/resistance levels that you use? Thanks in advance.
It depends on the platform you are using but if you are trading options you can generally just create the other side of the contract and it will close. So if you have a $100 call you have bought you could then sell a $100 call to close it. Generally the platform you have will have a simple way of right clicking on your position and saying close.
Hey man you do a great job on your videos! I like how you do not over complicate your content. some trading videos over explain the less important while just touching on important factors like support and resistance. Thank you!!!!

Great video Riley. You really hit on some big truths on being patient for the market to hit support and resistance levels before entering.
Yes patients is key!

Does this strategy work even on forex
I haven't used it but technical analysis should work on any market.

Awesome!!! I love trading naked charts focusing on key levels as well!!
Yes. Moving away from indicators really helped my trading.
You should have shown charts in 15 mints when why you made support and resistance
show us a full week of live trading, if you are profitable at the end I will buy your course 3 times
Is this the SPY? what stocks does this work best on?
This is the ES Futures so the S&P 500 index futures.
But i heard "A Support or Resistance gets weaker if tested multiple times". It confuses my trading! Any suggestions
Great video really helps a lot but what trading software do u use my friend?
I wish i can say i need someone to lend me money and pay it back within some months 😓😢
Kind of off-topic, but can you tell me how you take screen recordings like this?
i also use Ninja trader but it doesnt look as good as yours can you make a video for the same settings?
Thank you for making it so easy to understand such an important knowledge!!
Very informative..ill try to implement that in my trading
You're doing a great job Riley. Thanks so much. You're my mentor of course. I love you.
Riley, what tool do you use to set your stop loss and have your risk/reward in place?
I use a bracket order when I enter into trades so it's put in right away them I move it around.
Thanks for the strategy Riley !

Thx Riley for simplifying
what are your reversal candles ??
14:02 That's not a random level. It corresponds to an area that ICT calls a fair value gap (FVG).
