Much appreciated. 37688 powering over Glenfinnan Viaduct has to be my favourite shot, I had been wanting to film 37s there for years. I was so nervous filming it in case I made a mistake.
Superb video throughly enjoyed it and its great to see 37's working in the beautiful highland scenery, I must get up there one day behind a 37:)
Some astonishing 37 footage !! Up with the best I've seen. Not sure my neighbours appreciate the volumes I'm listening to it at though... : - )
Many thanks. I travelled behind 37s on the Caledonian Sleeper to Fort William in 2006 and was pushed out of Oban by one in 2007 but I still haven't travelled to Mallaig behind one. It would to be great to enjoy class 37 haulage to Kyle Of Lochalsh one day too.
I was hauled out of Kyle by a Class 37 in 1987.
fantastic vid .one of the best ive seen on youtube..GR8 locations, GR8 scenery.. a big like from me...kevin
Outstanding footage mate; a perfect combination of steam and EE locos. Really like the shot of 37688 opening up on Glenfinnan Viaduct. Well Done.
Many thanks.
Amazing footage! I'm at Rannoch moor for the 37s on saturday, can't wait!
A great fifteen minutes of thrash and clag from the different 37s and steamers there, especially in that last clip! I really enjoyed watching this, a like and a favourite and a subscription from me. :)
What a brilliant video thx for sharing
That's some beautiful scenery!
Superb video
John Brown Many thanks.
The departure from Oban was fantastic
I'm afraid not, once the tour departed Mallaig we did a boat cruise on Loch Nevis to see the seals and visit 'The Old Forge' pub in Inverie. It was great sitting out the front of the pub in stunning weather with a cold pint and talking about the 37s we had just witnessed erupting on Glenfinnan Viaduct. :-) In case you were wondering, we were the ones chasing the tour in a blue Jag - a fine chase vehicle!
Ta muchly. It is the only buffet they have spare I suppose. It was on the afternoon Jacobite last year too. It has an on-board genny to provide power to the buffet and aircon.
Many thanks and you're welcome.
That was bald headed on Glenfinan , like the link up with the drivers coordinating the required thrash with the use of the horns.
Waaay cool! We rode the Jacobite on June 6th and went back to Glasgow on June 9th. And I bet I saw the Midsummer West Highlander on its second way to Fort William on the 9th. I'll upload the vid this afternoon...
Thank you very much, the feedback is most appreciated. Im sure the neighbours can live with some occasional thrash ;-)
Gotta love all those wee heeds sticking out priceless
There's something about a Class 37...
glenfinnan beautiful bridge
Saw the old headboard from this tour on a steam special
Very nice vid. What's with the coffin (Mk2 air-con) behind the kettle?
8:20 sounded like a ram's mating call. How old is that beautiful bridge?
I believe the viaduct dates back to 1897.
Hi how are you, what a wonderful video, I watched twice over lol, any chance of lifting a little of the audio to use on a model rail video I am making, as before I'd give full credit and links etc? Thanks. Mike
Hi Mike. I'm ok thanks, you? Please help yourself to any audio on this video or any others.
@@ValentaLamenter Top man thanks
Brilliant stuff. Glad you caught the UKRT job :-) Any footage of 667 returning the train to Mallaig?
You know you are on a train with TWO 37's at the front
