250 is a very usual velocity in Germany I've been at 285 that's 178 mph and i did not feel like it's dangerous. I guess our streets are just better ;)
No...YOU HAVE A FUCKING HIGHWAY WITH NO SPEED LIMIT SCHWANZLUTSCHER! If I had access to the Autobahn, I would top my car out frequently. My Audi A4 1.8T would top out at 240 km/h, but I'd go and rent a Porsche or something and do way faster than 178 mph. Our roads are just as safe. Our drivers, just as good.
The Autobahn is one well designed roadway. I read that the entire road never exceeds 4% inclines/declines & has a dedicated team of mobile car repair stations (called ADAC) that responds within 15 minutes of a report of a breakdown. All in an effort to keep traffic jams to a minimum. It would put our Trans Canada 'Highway' to shame!

People make fun of the X-type for being a Ford Mondeo and all, but it is still a pretty nice car.
I can't wait to see how the newer XE improves on that with a dedicated platform & new in-house built engines.

@@RayFanful i thought most auto gearboxes starting in second gear, only with Kickdown it starts in first gear. idk if that's true, I heared that from other cars, not ones with the 6HP26 gearbox

thee Mitchi I've had one of these cars since 2012, this car hasn't had a single problem, major or minor. It's like the Honda Civic of Jaguars to me, but without the tunability.

It runs on broken dreams... Just kidding . Many people don't know this, but this was actually one of the first hybrid cars on the road. It has a recharger that has to be manually operated with the high beam switch. When u pull it, you recuperate energy and can drive a little bit further.

+Sotir Jançe is it reliable?? I'm thinking of getting one, but I'm afraid of the maintenance costs...
+setoain20 well ill tell you about mine ive had it for 30 hours now, and shows serious signs of abuse, however with that said, I need oil... because it didnt have any, I need a new swaybar, it was snapped in half, and had to get some new bulbs. Im going to replace the oil tomorrow, since i put in used oil, which isnt smart, but it had none to begin with, sothis was better than what it was, and the swaybar i found for like $40, so not bad to be honest
How about after 7 month of using a car what can you say about it?
Well I will say it's running alright now, had only one new issue with its battery draining quickly, but I think it was the alarm malfunctioning, there was more issues I had to fix than what I originally said, the flywheel turned out to be chipped and the trans had a bad cylanoid
