So, it's smart to create a nest egg from July through January of the following year in order to not need to frantically look for a job from February through June? That's really helpful information to pass along!
Great! Very useful video :) What about vacation period for teachers? Can you share some of that, in order to plan ahead visits from family and friends to Vietnam. Thank you! Congrats for the channel!
You’re welcome. :) usually teachers get those 10 or so days off during Tet. Other than that, it depends on the school if/when they give you extra leave over and above that (usually yes if you work full time and sign a year contract.)
Hey, getting conflicting information about needing a bachelors... I have a diploma in power engineering and am accredited... But I hear its not required as long as you have tefl / tesol? Whats the real deal? Thanks
Alex great video, i am currently looking at teaching in Vietnam. I don’t have a BA but hold a tefl and 2 years ESL experience teaching in china and online. Is it still possible to find decent work ?

Jared Fraser hey Jared, we’ve just done the course and didn’t use the laptop every day in class, however, you will need the laptop to write up some of the assignments (a course design and motivation essay). Hope that helps 😊
Hey Alex I"m Alex ^^ Do you know if a French/France person (me) can teach English in Vietnam or Thailande but my only native tongue is French. I use English every day on internet writing and reading. But is it enough to teach?
Hey Alex. :) There's a preference for native speakers among English centers, however, if you're native level or at least high level English there's a possibility of being hired if you meet the other requirements I mentioned.

Hey Ninja. I’m doing my final year in varsity this year. Is it possible to apply while you haven’t obtained your degree? 🇿🇦
Great video. Really informative.
Starting the course in June. Glad to know jobs will be plenty 😊
Awesome, see you then!
Is No-vember the best time post-Covid?
Hehe
Thank you, that was interesting. Is a Bachelor's degree enough to get a work permit or is a must to have the TEFL certificate as well?
Wow teacher handsome man ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️

Two years ago you said that the market for TEFL teachers in Vietnam was not saturated. Would you still say that's true today?
Hello, how much would it cost to enroll TESOL / TEFL? Thank you

I am a TEFL certified, looking for a job....
Hi ..is TEFL course sufficient to teach English in Vietnam..
A TEFL course plus a bachelors degree in any subject is required.
Hi Alex I have a basic question, does the course require you to have a laptop to use each day, is this essential for taking the course?
Jared Fraser hey Jared, we’ve just done the course and didn’t use the laptop every day in class, however, you will need the laptop to write up some of the assignments (a course design and motivation essay). Hope that helps 😊

It can't hurt to get certification for English courses along with TESOL, too. :)
