Went to conquer Rome, failed there, failed to establish a proper hold on Persian attacks. Failed to reform the procedures in which laws are established in the empire. You can see, the Ottomans never expanded their empire much after that except for the conquest of Murad IV the son of Kosem Sultan. So for the empire and dynasty, Sultan Suleiman was a disaster. But for the westerners, he is magnificent as he killed his son who would have invaded entire western Europe.

He was one of the reason I watched mera Sultan till end even after knowing that Beyazid is going to die and then finally my heart is going to break into pieces when Sultan Suleiman will die. I cried seeing the fate of poor Mrihmah Sultan leaving palace after her parent's death and Sumbul closing harem gate all alone ❤️😭
