hey i just purchased this exact card and now its delivering, but I now noticed a decent amount of people saying it has BIOS or drivers issues a couple months ago, is this fixed by now? Should I return it?
I like your straight to the point vids keep it up and I’m sure you will grow pretty fast. I’m building my first pc and just trying to figure out what graphics card to get I’ve had my eyes set on the power color red devil but there is a lot of him hawing about there drivers, just wondering what you think I’ve got the ryzen 7 2700x probably going with the asus rog crosshair vii hero x470 with 16G of g skill trident z neo. Anyway i just want it as smooth as possible and if there are bugs with gpu’s I’ll just bite the bullet and probably go with a 2080 super. Any input would be cool! Thanks!👍✌️
you already have the crosshair vii hero? or you are getting it? great board.. but pending the price, you could get something current gen... the red devil is supposed to be a nice card. bitwit, pauls hardware, jayztwocents and so on have reviewed it. for the money, i really like this gigabyte card... truly do. thanks for the comment! i do hope to get some subs at some point. im learning a ton.
KDS Tech I don’t have the mob yet but after researching a ton I don’t have much use for the what is it 4.0 something or other so I thought I’d get a bad ass last gen board which will probably serve well for awhile and yes I’ve watched a ton on the gpu’s from all named but to me it’s almost like apple the nvidia cards just work even though the 5700’s are sweet! Anyway thanks for the input in my experience of watching channels grow you just need to post a consistent amount of videos with clear subject matter and things seem to take off!
Well... There are other cards out now... and frankly... once the 3070 is released and the new AMD stuff is released, I’d prob say no... unless you got it for $150 ??? Not sure. I will say, it was a great card.
isn't the pricing of this card around the same as blower reference models of the rx5700? that's the case in the uk, would you still consider this over one of those? great channel!
The cheapest 5700 I can find is $340, so $50 more than I got this 5600xt for. It’s hard because a person could always justify spending “just a little bit more” for the next step up, but before you know it you are spending enough to buy a top tier card. Personally, I think that the 5600xt or the 2060 FE is a great area for 1080p gaming. However, my main gaming rig ( Genisys) is using 2080ti’s... so, yeah...
it should have. yes. i have had zero problems with my strix card. i set my fan profiles manually.. so my temps are usually mid 50s when gaming under full load.
Good question. It’s advertised as a 1080p gaming gpu. For that, it works very well. I didn’t do any editing on it at all as I do my editing on a machine with 2080ti. That said, I have done editing on a machine with 2060 and would guess it’s likely somewhat similar... but can’t say that for certain. I don’t know that a person that’s doing serious editing is buying this card.
@@jantonny8815 why would you buy a rx5600xt now. The 2060 is the same cost and matches a overclocked 5600xt. I say overclocked because all the new vbios is is a factory overclock for all decent cooled cards. So if a stock 2060 can match a overclocked 5600xt this means that a overclocked 2060(also consider Turing overclocks much better than Navi) beats a oc 5600xt. And the 2060 offers nvenc and rtx. There is no reason to buy a 5600xt
good question. a couple of reasons... i did a video on how to install the monoblock for one... and two, it does control the temps further, especially when i'm playing around with overclocking. also.. i like the look :)
depends on the pricepoint and what you are using it for... i personally use 2080 supers and 2080ti's because i game in 4k... but if you are a 1080p gamer, right now i am really impressed with this 5600xt and the 2060 super.
Why would you want to. What you need to remember is the new vbios is just an overclock. That's all it is. A overclock that is stable on all most decent 5600xts(aka yours) otherwise they wouldn't release it. To gain the same performance as a new vbios rx5600xt, just overclock your card to the same levels. Lock the fans to 50% and overclock it on wattman to 1720mhz core 14gbs mem. I can help you do that if you wish. Just get discord. This is why the 5600xt is worse than a 2060. A 2060 stock matches a 5600xt oc(basically new vbios). You overclock the 2060 and the rx5600xt loses. And the 2060 has rtx and nvenc. No reason to buy a 5600xt
This Channel seems wholesome af. Subbed
Thanks!

Is this the best budget card because I think this is my best option

this is what we called better comparison sir i love it

amd drivers already fix so no more garbage drivers for amd gpu
if i buy it now is that worth ??
hard to say. it's a great card, but the new series is hitting and will be massive performance gains. if you get it cheap enough though.. yeah.
What about now, would you still recommend it?

should i go with this one or the sapphire pulse version?
