Yeah, if you haven't found a good strategy (the way I uploaded the map, was use skimmers in the beggining, then switch to crimson+field combo) then it will be tough. That's why I made the map afterwards abit easier.

There are some of those maps somewhere, but they are a little weird. There are PvP maps where you launch emitters, spores and blobs at each other though, and are quite fun.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1338 Oh now, having a map where you can play both sides is a real treat :D, seeing which one you can do better in an equal playing field, super cool. I do hope we get more like this
The creeper version would be hellish if the field gens didn't work on AC. If you want a concentrated volley from launchers pause the game, place them and then when you unpause they're synced up to fire at the same time although distance to target will also play a factor.
Yet again, the lack of pylons kinda screwed Tom on map 1. Can you imagine if there was a unit like a tower that was able to send packets of energy and resources farther (like over large gaps) and faster (over things like, idk... LARGE GAPS)?? The developer really needs to implement a new build- OH WAIT!
Reactors produce energy that is given to the rift lab, similar to miners. So it's best to put them in your back line with your rift lab etc, so they are safe and all that

I love that you spend the extra few minutes just to clear up the remaining creeper/anti-creeper. I do that all the time too.

please no they ruin maps by existing, allowing you to just ignore expanding until you have 50 energy/second

I played this map as the creep and by god it was a grind and a half to get it done.

@@buttrcat5816 yeah I forgot skimmers still drop a payload if destroyed so I didn't think to use them considering the number of snipers

If you don‘t know, those reactors are from cw3. back in cw3 there are no miner, we are useing reactors and tower.

Just use the rift lab as a portable connection and micro it every 2 seconds to keep it in place
