Having learnt it fairly recently, I can say that Peg is great to play on the piano. Lots of nice chords, a fun 12 bar blues style progression, and a fantastic intro
@@blahblaahblaaah Sure enough 12 bar blues. Didn't ever think of that with this song. Once I dug into it, wow. Nate should do this for sure. Love them blues. Thanks.
@@billhasty5197 it never occurred to me until I learnt it! It's not an immediately obvious 12 bars. But once you hear it, you wonder how you ever missed it
@@PianowithNate thanks, I would be very happy about that. I tried the Intro but i am a beginner and dont know if i played it right. I play Bbsus2, Gm7, F, Ebadd2 ua-cam.com/video/vPaM0d2wKH0/v-deo.html
Thanks Nate for yet another great tutorital!😁 Your videos makes it so easy to follow along in the learning prosess, and makes it so fun to play the piano! Could you please teach us The Winner Takes It All by ABBA?😍🙌
Hello Nate :) First of all, i wanted to really thank you for all your awesome tutorials! You detail a lot and you show how you play at the end of the video. I just subscribed of course! And i have 2 questions for you: will you please make a tutorial on the song called "water under bridges" and "consequence of love" by Gregory Porter? Please! ^_^
You are the best! I love that you stay true to the originals while breaking things down in such a way that we don't have to rigidly follow some sheet music without actually improving as musicians. I humbly request "She Used To Be Mine." There are 2 popular recordings, Jessie Mueller (in F# Major) and Sara Bareilles (F Major).
Thanks for another superb tutorial Nate. It's a beautiful song and lovely voicings. If you get the chance it would be fab to learn 'You are so beautiful' by Joe Cocker, maybe with some simplified options for us mere mortals compared to Nicky Hopkins! Thanks again
Thank you so much for all your tutorials! I just found your chanel and I am really happy. Could you maybe do a tutorial for a million dreams from the greatest showman? Would be awesome! Thank you so much for your work!!
You should definitly do "pipes of peace" by paul mccartney. It fits so perfect into the kind of contet u post. Also there is not a single Tutorial on UA-cam that explains and teaches
I'm definitely eager to do California Dreamin'...I just keep getting cold feet because I'm not sure what to do about the flute solo section haha. I'll revisit it soon...
Hi! It seems to be a bit convoluted and contentious, it was recorded to be released as a Mamas & Papas track and was featured on their 1968 record right before they broke up. Mama Cass then re-released it as a single under her name, which others were not happy with. Either way, the original recording is officially filed under "The Mama's & The Papas" on streaming services etc, which is what I always ultimately go by.

Fantastic performance ! Another great video Nate ! Greats from France !
Many thanks!!
Thanks Nate. The Mamas and Papas version of this is one of my favourite songs so will try to learn it.
Nate's often putting effects on his vocals, but I like his raw voice!
Thanks for the feedback!
Another brilliant song beautifully played.
Cheers!

great, keep going .my recommendation: do tutorials on piano songs And fewer translations from guitar
Agree - a lot of great songs here but some are quintessentially guitar oriented and IMO just not as much suited to piano.
Thanks you!!!!
My pleasure!
I could get into this.

This was a solo song by Mama Cass, not a Mamas & Papas song.
