The fact that this show’s animators has a meme board to get their artist block out is honestly the funniest thing I can imagine and it makes me love the level of effort the animators put out even more
I have a theory about Floppy's redesign. You know how parents buy 2 of the same toys just in case the kid destroys one they can replace it with another. Well Bingo probably destroyed the original one on accident. So when they replace it, they gave Bingo a different one they bought since they couldn't find another one of the same kind, resulting in Chilly or Bandit convincing Bingo it's the same toy or something.
The duck cake was already famous before Bluey. The cook book they we're browsing at the start of the episode refers to the famous "Children's Birthday Cake Book" by The Australian Women's Weekly.
Assuming the house wasn't left to them by Bandit's parents, and assuming they didn't buy a fixer upper, and assuming the bought it around 8 years ago, before Bluey was born, they still make enough together to afford the house by what their jobs pay in Australia, especially if Bandit is particularly higher up in his field, which he seems to be since he can work from home most of the time. As an archeologist there is a good chance he writes nonfiction books on the subject as well, meaning he could have royalties coming in, as well as if he writes articles for publications, does speeches for schools, and various other things archeologists can do to bring in more money, outside of smuggling, though it doesn't mean they couldn't be. A thought about the diversity question, Heelers are a breed made by mixing Dingoes, which are indigenous Australian dogs, with other British herding dogs, making them partially indigenous themselves, for whatever anyone want to take from that.
They own a nice house because it's a kids show is the real reason. 8 years ago the housing market in brisbane still would not allow to buy that big a house, that close to the city, espically with that view, on a single household income. On top of the prices for houses which while better were still not great, the other problem was water, electricity and petrol bills have always been pretty high even back then. The other problem is Australian archeology does not have the massive price points like some other countries (t-rex's sell to private collections and museums for a lot and australia doesn't have any), meaning the field is much less lucrative unless he were to be continually traveling. However lets say i agree, lets say yes he's the bob irwin of australian acheology and has book deals. We still know that while both the kids were babies Chilly wasn't working so a one income house hold probably wouldn't get a house like that. I'll also throw out there there parents could have all given indefinate loans or hell just gifted them money to help them and for where they are i'd still argue it would be a real long shot.
@@Parasolhyena that's great but it's a double household income. Either that or I'm about to learn that Australia has less of a maternity leave policy than the USA and just cans new moms. I have literally no idea why you think she couldn't be working and raising babies. We do it all the time here. Judging by the fact they already had the house in Baby Race, pretty sure they bought it before they had pups because they were planning to have a family. Since they are also in their late 30s- early 40s one could assume they saved up for it for a good while.
@@Parasolhyena just for the record as well archeology does not deal in T-Rexes, that is paleontology. Archeologist deal with human (or, in this case dogs) artifacts and bones. They are usually attached to a college, museum, or sponsored through the state. That is how they make their money, along with speeches and books, not selling what they find. I that's illegal in many places...
Going along with real world events, in the episode ‘Asparagus’ while chili and bingo are acting like animals, they try to sneak up on Lucky’s dad. He is seen hanging clothes to dry while singing the Australian folk song “Moreton Bay” which is about British colonization in Australia and brutal conditions of British prisoners, which means that there was ALSO British colonialism in the bluey universe.
The thing is, Bluey is an anachronism of modern young family life from the perspective of a child. Thinking about the world outside the show, such as real world events and such, doesn't work because most young children don't know about WW2 or even more recent events. Therefore, real world events don't exist in the show simply because the world doesn't exist outside of the kid's home and wherever they go.
I would dissagree. You make good points, but we also must remember this show is also made for adults as well. Kids don't know about misscarraige, but that still exists in this world for instance
20:32 Little thing: in the episode Hospital (season 1 episode 2) Bluey takes a cat out of her dad’s stomach. implying that, cats are actually alive and are popular enough to make plushies out of in the Bluey universe.
For some reason in Bedroom, Bingo says this- “Goodnight Missy. Goodnight Lila. Goodnight Grandpa Bob. *Wherever you are.*” Bingo being 5 might not know how death works. So yes although they could have called either granddad in Humpty Dumpty, this could be more evidence supporting where Grandpa Bob is. Or how he is.
8:38 I was actually wondering how they managed to capture the tune of a child so well. They are, well actual kids. Glad their identities are not publicly available.

Sad you didn't talk about how animal abuse works in bluey. In the show some dobermans have cropped ears(idk if they have cropped tails too) and some don't. Understandably a lot of people are against cropping ears as it is a painful process;would cropping your child's ears in bluey be animal abuse or would it be the same as circumcision
I don’t know much about dogs (I’m actually allergic to them), but I never knew that was a thing, and that it’s apparently referenced in the show. I’ll make sure to keep it in mind though if/when I make the next installment.
Maybe it’s a body modification similar to having your ears pierced or getting a tattoo. Idk if we’ve seen children in the show who have unnaturally upright ears, but many parents (such as my mom) have their infant’s ears pierced to get it out of the way. I’m aware that getting a dog’s ears cropped is a lot more painful than getting someone’s ears pierced, but maybe they’ve found an alternate method to make it less so in this universe
14:00 I actually have a headcanon for this. Y’know how way back in the day, royal families would intermarry and inbreed a lot to keep the royal bloodline pure, resulting in a lot of deformities (like King Tutankhamen’s scoliosis and the famous Habsburg jaw)? Maybe this is what resulted in breeds that are man made irl in the Bluey universe. Many man made dog breeds are intentionally inbred and deformed to get traits that humans wanted, so maybe it happened by accident and the traits just stuck around.
There are still some representations of these deformations in modern royals! I believe one of the duchesses in England had played Queen Victoria in a show before she looked exactly like her with the same unusual eye spacing and pout
My kid loves this show, and thankfully it's quality enough for adults to enjoy too. My favorite was "Born Yesterday" when Bandit examines the leaf with a different perspective. I felt that. Good stuff.

Regarding religion, Chili does yoga (a spiritual practice for some) and in the episode The Pool, when Bluey is trying to shake you can see a dog garden Buddha statue in the background. That church building is designed more like a mosque or temple.
Wait, that means toby fox exists, and toby fox worked on homestuck. Which in turn means homestuck exists in the bluey universe, and im not sure how I feel about that.
'Man-made' breeds in the Bluey universe were most likely a result of different dog breeds cross-breeding. Missy's mom looks to be a different breed than her, so she might be a mixed breed (or just adopted).
26:13 Oh, I always thought of it as them preparing themselves for Bingo crying due to the balloon exploding. sometimes kids tend to cry over the sudden loud sound of them (I know cause me and my sis used to do that)
For floppy being a different colour, maybe floppy was getting cleaned by chilli, and because he appeard white, maybe his colours changed due to a purple peice of clothing?
One thing you missed is in the episode titled “movies” where there is a part with a narrator saying “experience pure SOUND” witch references the infamous THX logo without the narrator it also has a miss leading and disturbing sound kind of similar to the THX logo
I have noticed in the episode ''Movies" there was only 10 dogs in the theater and I theorized it could be that the coronavirus pandemic is starting in the Bluey universe because it could take months or weeks before April 2020 like you mentioned
and in the episode, which I forgot the name of, there’s the cat, who is gonna scratch, bluest curtains, funny how the line was changed to scratch curtains instead of pee on the curtains
Iceberg videos are always in my recommendations and I don’t know why since I’ve never watched one or cared to at all. But I’ve seen this and part 1 and loved them both, good job. Also at 25:32 - one of the pictures has Bandit dressed up as Dr. Rockso which is now my new favorite thing. And concerning the last part, I guess it’s just a r34 trope for cartoon families to do it with each other rather than characters they’re not related to, probably just laziness from the artists.
16:11 I was wondering about this today! Also, my theory on 16:31 is that the chocolate is dog-friendly. If you didn’t know, dog chocolate exists, and it’s essentially a chocolate that uses ingredients that won’t make a dog sick.
That was great! The only thing I can think of I would have included is the fact that Bluey herself may be named after a real dog that lived in Australia for 30 years. Not a blue heeler though.
You really did all the best research for this video, even making the personal sacrifice of diving down into the abyss to see things that should be unseen. Surprised you put up a cropped image at the end there. I hope you managed to get yourself some strong eyebleach after dealing with that.
25:23 Homage References I noticed: -Saving Private Ryan -Rambo -Full Metal Jacket -Footloose -Jurassic Park -Harry Potter -Gravity -Alien -Bird Box -Star Wars -Sonic The Hedgehog -Spinal Tap -Beavis and Butthead Do America -Speed -Indiana Jones -Up
A piece of evidence I’ve seen on Venus may be a baby is because we have seen Bluey share dreams with her dad and she shared one with bingo so she could have shared a dream with her mom just a little something to think about
I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe Brumm got some inspiration from Jim Henson for the character designs. The patch-like eyes and baby designs remind me a lot of the Muppets and Muppet Babies.
If theres a dog WW2 that means there was a dog WW1 and if theres a dog WW1 then we have Serbia and if theres dog serbia then there was a dog yugoslav war. So slavic dog genocides exist?
Looking forward to the second part. I'm glad I discovered your content back in the early summer. I really enjoy your content as a whole :) EDIT: I also hope what I stated is in here which was the attempt on replacing the character accents for the show.
I really love this Iceberg (I should have commented when it first came out lol). Anyways when you mentioned the Miscarriage Rumors in the Other Iceberg and This Iceberg it kinda made me a bit f*cked up and very Awkward😬. Btw when i saw this clip 18:52 i spat out my coke all over myself😂🤣
Whoaaaa holy crap there I am! Great work once again B&B! Although I believe a few other iceberg variations featured other videos of mine... Still, great work!
Hey there's actually something that I'd like too mention about Bluey that's somewhat related too an iceberg video and what it is, is that in the episode Yoga ball when Bingo first uses her "big girl bark" with Chilli in Australia (I know this because I watch Bluey on TV) in the "trailer" for Bluey showing off the show that scene when Bingo first uses her "big girl bark" with Chilli for some reason it's at the beach instead of the backyard of the house for some odd reason
THE HEELERS CAN SHARE DREAMS. the scene in the episode sleepy time where bingo is running on top of Saturn, bluey is running with her in the dream and when it shows them out of the dream, both bingo and bluey are running on bandits back, so its possible that chili is sharing a dream with bingo, making that unhatched planet represent chilis first child.
reporter: "it should be more diverse" bluey: *has numerous species of dogs of all shapes/sizes/colours, covers the topic of different hair types, covers different types of family dynamics and relationships (separated parents, single parents, same sex parents, multiple parents), has a good mix of abled and disabled characters as well as neurotypical and neurodivergent characters, covers a diverse range of topics including trauma disorders and medical conditions, etc etc etc.*
Super unnoticed background Easter egg, Sufjan Stevens album cover from 'The Age of Adz' features in one of the episodes! (I think Grannies) I was so excited to spot it!!
You should definitely do a part three mostly two reasons why one because sometimes these theories can be dark and sometimes there’s like more to like discuss and more to figure out so you got to like watch all the episodes like all at once and figure out more like mysteries and stuff like that
I think the reason floppy's design changes is bingo lost the original and Chilli replaced it with a new one. My mom would have a duplicate of my favorite stuffed toys in a closet in case i ever lost one. The funniest part is I never lost any of them so all the duplicates have gone to my sister
Now I feel much more better! This second part of iceberg wasn't scary than I thought. It's good that it turned out that way than with psychodenic music. I like that iceberg! I have a few threads that would fit but some are so absurd and some are interesting. Btw, I'm glad this version is milder and not too controversial anymore than I thought. Good job!
Here is a thought. All dog breads are a result of human selective breading and domestication. So if we are going to ask how the pug got there, we have to question where any of them came from.
Before anymore people comment about the cat thing, the way I wrote it was a bit confusing, but what I meant was that we never see an actual cat in the show, NOT including the ones in movies, TV, etc.

20:45 There's also a toy cat in episode: trains. Bluey tried sneaking her pet cat on the train even though no pets were allowed.
also in hospital
and in the episode, which I forgot the name of, there’s the cat, who is gonna scratch, bluest curtains, funny how the line was changed to scratch curtains instead of pee on the curtains
Glad to actually see someone talk about Bluey. Love it!
27:35 I think the Heelers can share dreams so like Chilli might share this bit even if she’s not sleeping, Bluey can also go into people’s dream
This was honestly one of the most intriguing iceberg videos I've seen in a while. Thank you for uploading!
We need a mouse pad of Bandit saying "Oh biscuits."
15:24 Shanelle was actually shown in a season 3 episode, and her design looks really good.
i think this iceberg was made before the season 3
being in the usa when watching bluey sucks, disney is taking way to long to pump out season 3 episodes
@@nickbits-ii8my yeah, we got 25 episodes for season 3 and I already finished them
You've done it again! B&B, you're a cool content creator, keep doing what you're doing!
you like Bluey and CEC your awesome!
@@showbizcecentertainment1246 uh wtf no
The book they used in “Duck Cake” is actually a real book. I’ve got it.
Thanks
Do you know where I can buy it? I may or may not want to take on the frustration that is making a duck cake….

Is that real??
yes! i believe they’re called ‘carob chips’, though i might be wrong
No shit Sherlock
21:49 ant: that is one small dog
I think it bit Bluey 😟
@@Jadon_K
do not worry sir, it’s just a fire ant and would only hurt badly
@@someguy1894 you know there bite stings a lot, right?
@@EpicgamerGTG yea
i said it hurts a lot, I’m not describing it fully but yea

I absolutely love how you set the figurines up.
That was great! The only thing I can think of I would have included is the fact that Bluey herself may be named after a real dog that lived in Australia for 30 years. Not a blue heeler though.
8:02 this made me laugh so hard
I think it was kind of funny that in the bingo episode everyone was confused when Bluey lost the statue game
it wasn't a statue game, more so freeze dance

You really did all the best research for this video, even making the personal sacrifice of diving down into the abyss to see things that should be unseen. Surprised you put up a cropped image at the end there. I hope you managed to get yourself some strong eyebleach after dealing with that.
Love part 2 of this very has more interesting things following up to the first video love your work🙂

-Saving Private Ryan
-Rambo
-Full Metal Jacket
-Footloose
-Jurassic Park
-Harry Potter

-Bird Box
-Star Wars
-Sonic The Hedgehog
-Spinal Tap
-Beavis and Butthead Do America

In the episode fairies there is a gladiators reference when Bandit is dancing around the mailbox
Bruh, the “oh wow!” Part caught me off guard, I really love it

and that implies that doctor amigo also exists

Haven't you heard of the episode where they got shrunk to the size of ants?
@@AwesomeYena and them got smooshed ant guts spilled everywhere? Loved that one
I just noticed that-

This is my life, watching an anime that I never though I would ever watch, and then bluey is just amazing.
You were the one that built up my love for bluey, thank you 🤍
I could definitely see religions existing in the Bluey universe or different “dogmas” if you will. Makes sense.
Idk why but 21:46 with the ant walking around within the shot is interesting to me.
At 30:00 he is implying that a space race happened and WW2 happened. So there was also was a dog Joseph Stalin and a dog Hitler and dog Communism.
If theres a dog WW2 that means there was a dog WW1 and if theres a dog WW1 then we have Serbia and if theres dog serbia then there was a dog yugoslav war.
So slavic dog genocides exist?
Bluey Hitler
Looking forward to the second part.
I'm glad I discovered your content back in the early summer. I really enjoy your content as a whole :)
EDIT: I also hope what I stated is in here which was the attempt on replacing the character accents for the show.
I watched your video about Bluey
This iceberg video was AMAZING! I loved it!!!
In the episode "shops" the school kids are playing a game featuring kittens/cats to where the even have a "kitten shop" but still no actual cats😕
*T H E S C H O O L K I D S*
This was a good second part to the ice berg, good job!
The fact that Sans appears as a reference in Bluey is just to explode for.
25:59 I have to change my entire bluey timeline just for this theory thank you
I really love this Iceberg (I should have commented when it first came out lol).
Anyways when you mentioned the Miscarriage Rumors in the Other Iceberg and This Iceberg it kinda made me a bit f*cked up and very Awkward😬.
Btw when i saw this clip 18:52 i spat out my coke all over myself😂🤣
Is there any plans for part 3? I keep thinking there will eventually be a third part, but we're going to have to wait
"ITS LIKE THEY DONT EVEN KNOW THE CHARECTERS!" 30:40
Something amazing is in Australia, we have a fair bit of Bluey branded stuff. We've literally got Bluey biscuits. (They're quite yummy too 😍)
Whoaaaa holy crap there I am! Great work once again B&B! Although I believe a few other iceberg variations featured other videos of mine... Still, great work!
12:58 fun fact: the german version of bluey used peppa pig's voice for chunky chimpy
Also in some bluey episodes when the characters act like random animals, they replicate realistic cats.
Buen video amigo, internet it's a "magical" place, i guess.
It's not just a good video, *I T ' S A G R E A T V I D E O ! ! !*
THE HEELERS CAN SHARE DREAMS. the scene in the episode sleepy time where bingo is running on top of Saturn, bluey is running with her in the dream and when it shows them out of the dream, both bingo and bluey are running on bandits back, so its possible that chili is sharing a dream with bingo, making that unhatched planet represent chilis first child.
reporter: "it should be more diverse"
bluey: *has numerous species of dogs of all shapes/sizes/colours, covers the topic of different hair types, covers different types of family dynamics and relationships (separated parents, single parents, same sex parents, multiple parents), has a good mix of abled and disabled characters as well as neurotypical and neurodivergent characters, covers a diverse range of topics including trauma disorders and medical conditions, etc etc etc.*
Super unnoticed background Easter egg, Sufjan Stevens album cover from 'The Age of Adz' features in one of the episodes! (I think Grannies) I was so excited to spot it!!
You should definitely do a part three mostly two reasons why one because sometimes these theories can be dark and sometimes there’s like more to like discuss and more to figure out so you got to like watch all the episodes like all at once and figure out more like mysteries and stuff like that
The Mr In-Between reference though
I mean screen Australia does help BBC and ABC work on bluey sooooo I guess that makes a good point
10:09 it’s perfect. Like he’s voicing him.
I think thats what he's going for
I think the reason floppy's design changes is bingo lost the original and Chilli replaced it with a new one. My mom would have a duplicate of my favorite stuffed toys in a closet in case i ever lost one. The funniest part is I never lost any of them so all the duplicates have gone to my sister
14:54 The Bandit toy is haunted!
Good job!
Here I posted my new theories for the future Iceberg (if there would be) and my opinions about them
