Thanks man! I know it’s a bit cringe but it is the YT ‘meta’ atm 😅 Thanks for the comment man I’m glad you enjoyed, plenty more Imperator videos will be coming as well :)
After the massalaian playthrough could you do one where you play as a greek city State maybe sparta and migrate to England and make a greek Brittain empire
You know the Greeks are the first people to write about Britain and name it, yeah? It's a really cool piece of history! Rule Pritania if I recall correctly :) @@Red_Zed
Hope no offense taken, you can put the mercs (or any army for that matter) in reorganization mode, which allows them to replenish numbers and morale faster, at the expense of extra maintenance and lower movement speed.
please keep making this imperator rome videos i only saw the masalian game but i love it and also could you make a imperator rome playtrought making britannia (sorry for the bad english but im not a native )
@@Red_Zed BTW, the massilians founded the city on corsica. It has Massillan pops and is in the region of Italia. If u conquer it, u could move ur capital there easily.
Have you been moving pops around? Not sure how much the game has changed since the base game, but the fastest way to convert, is by creating majorities in religion/ethnicity in various places. Not 50%, just be the majority, so the more ethnicities and religions you have in one place, the less pops of the correct religion/ethnicity you need in percentages. You could rapidly snowball it in the original game
I did to allow for the colonisation. However I’ve not played with it too much but thank you for the tip that’s a great idea I’ll do some before the next part so we can start to convert better. Thanks man :)
It’s relatively difficult initially if you’ve not played paradox before, Laith on YT has a good guide to it you should watch. However once you get going and over the learning hump it becomes easier and easier and you’ll be good to go :)
@@Red_Zed I watched past night a Romal playthrough and I have to say the basics are not as hard as I thought. I think it's quite fun to learn with Rome at first. Also you know I play total war games. And for me Roman history especially Republican era (and the empire when it was still strong) are my favourite time periods. So with some defent hours invested in to it, I will defenilty see myself become good at Imperator Rome.
Just so you know, integrated culture pops will not assimilate to your primary culture (also, assimilation will only ever go to your primary culture and faith). Because of that, it was a bad idea that you integrated both Gallic cultures you started with, rather than beginning to assimilate one of them. I don't know how it works, but you'll have some very angry pops once you force assimilate a population by unintegrating it. I personally would've only integrated the Salluvians and assimilated the Volcae. At least the Iberic culturs will be (slowwwly) assimilating. Note that one benefit of doing things your way is that they might convert religions much faster (I think some vanilla modifiers don't quite work right with respect to this, but I may be making that up). Since these cultures are also the ones most mixed up with Masillian pops, you will likely have an easier time unintegrating then assimilating them culturally afterwards than, say, had you done that with an Iberic culture. I still think it was a bad idea to integrate the Volcae, though, as, while they are smaller, they are also less in contact with your main culture, and the time lost assimilating them will definitely be felt. That alongside the fact that you don't even hold half of the Volcae homeland vs the Salluvian one, so their religious conversion will happen less globally. EDIT: Notes: - You already have a city in Ibiza (western Balearic island, don't know the in-game name). Just thought to mention - One long-term benefit of integrating one culture from each group is getting their military traditions over time (a very long time). Integrating multiple, however, does no such thing. I would, for optimality, integrate the smallest culture I can for this effect, although the roleplay of integraring the closest large member is certainly there. In your case, you probably need every integrated pop you can get, too.
Hey man thanks so much for this it’s really helpful! If I were to go back yes I’d probably just go for the Salluvians rather than both, I think I just panicked a bit because of such small armies lol, needed some more troops even if the army is a mess 😅 But thanks for the comment that will definitely help me in future! :)

Hmm we’ll see ;)
22:03 Carthage is pretty damn weak.
23:22 Carthage: Do you remember what you said before?
Haha ye, I meant in relation to how Rome was doing but all those little vassals crest a ruthless swarm lol 😆
those Messalian levies just going LEROY JENKINS and sacking rome is hilarious
The boiz on a mission 😆
I can’t believe you won that! Well fought.
You only had like a couple months worth of mercenary wage left in the treasury as well 😂
Thanks man, absolutely brutal but worth it in the end! 😆
Very satisfying ending.
Thanks man it was good fun!
Wow you got Rome! it took me hundreds of years longer to get the enteral city
A lot of luck tbf :)

No offends at all, thank you man!! That’s a great tip, I think the army menu has so many buttons I’m just scared to hover over them all 😆
Attaching a governor with 1 finesse and being surprised that provincial policy doesn't work? That's funny :D
Yeah 😂 lol I was a bit of a noob back when this came out, not anymore hopefully though 😅😆

Nice video! :3

This is exactly how I feel when I fight Rome 😂
Always a nightmare 😅
U could integrate the romans to unlock their traditions. They have several seige ones and six free innovations. Just a thought.
Good idea man! 😊

@@Red_Zed Man, I love your authenticity, it feels fresh, it feels new and it feels like something familiar.
Thank you! I appreciate it :)
If you're playing Massalia without being a 2 territories Tall republic while vassalizing the rest of the known world, you're doing it wrong.
Ok gate
So how difficult is imperator Rome to learn? I mean I'm not used to paradox games. But this one interests me because off the time period.
