Thanks for posting. In case you didnt know, with the 'Stretched Mode' plugin, you can adjust the scale of your UI/inventory. This way it's not so small in the bottom corner. If that's your pref, all good too!
So, due to the way the game works, when you're running, you technically "teleport" every other square. I use a runelite plugin that shows where my character "actually" is according to the game (the blue square). You'll see that when I'm running it skips every other square. Due to this, if you START running from the first or last squares I have marked in yellow, your character will automatically skip over every single square where you are visible to the extremities. The only thing that can hit you would be if the shadows appear on your "safe" path. But they only hit for like 18 and I'm very lazy so I usually just ignore them.
The only exception to all that is right after a kill. If you leave as soon as he dies, you can make it all the way to the first mushroom before he re-activates all the extremities.

Thanks for the tip! I actually DO have it tiny on purpose, I got used to a tiny UI playing WoW and it just kinda stuck ^_^
Respect, i do 5kc a trip now. I have food leftovers and no prayer pots.. i need more supplies i'll guess. The sepentine helmet is a good tip!
How are you able to run past all the extremities? I try that and get frozen for 60 damage.
