Thank you for this video. My faucet is quite old and had a buildup of limescale so it took quite a while to remove the cap covering the screw (had to put the edge of a screwdriver in, hammer it slightly in and lever it out). I also had to use quite a bit of force to get the handle out after removing the screw. To those who have this exact same type of tap and is struggling to get the handle out, gently hammer each side of the handle first. Then cover the handle with a dry cloth and WIGGLE it out, moving left and right with firm force. The key is to not just pull but to wiggle. When I got to the nut bolt, it was also already very tight, but I just loosened and tightened it again. That fixed the leaking. Thank you, saved me some money definitely!
Call the plumber, he will want to sell you a new faucet.
- 80 for coming
- 50 for s simple faucet
- 20 for labour
+ GST, PIE, NPD, SPG
= SGD 250
Omg so true hahahaha 😜
Maybe you need to find a handyman.

Worked extremely well! Just that the lever in mine couldn’t be detached that easily and needed some hammering. But otherwise, totally works!
