In Cali, in the west of Colombia, there is a interesting neighborhood: La Alameda. There you will find different shops and the huge market Galería Alameda. Depending on the day and time, a local gridlock is included. The market in Cali is definitely a bit wilder than the one in Bogotá. With the proximity to the Pacific, the freshest fish and seafood can also be found here. By the way, this is delivered on Monday or Tuesday. A visit is definitely worth it and you should also bring your hunger with you, because you can eat something everywhere.
