I am a Pakistani! I have a lump in my throat right now as I feel so close to crying for the family yet I feel thankful that Sardar ji was finally able to see the last living place of his father. There must be hundreds of thousands of families who had to go through unimaginable tragedies to go to different places on both sides of the border drawn by a white man who had come to India from Britain only a few weeks prior and had absolutely no idea about India’s demographic. My late grandma used to tell her stories about her fathers “Munshi Mr Bela Singh whose family and many other Hindus and Sikhs lived together in harmony and she would cry thinking about partition until her final days, where has this hate brought us? I would just like to conclude by thanking sardar ji and his wife for having the courage to come see those place regardless of the stereotypes around Pakistan. Love & peace

I am Pakistani residing overseas and throughout this video clip my eyes welled and I was fighting my tears. Just look at common people of Pakistan and India. Where is that hatered, animosity? I could only see extreme love, affection and respect for each other. Shame on the respective governments of Pakistan & India for keep us citizens apart.

I literally had tears in my eyes 😢 my father and grandfather migrated from Amritsar and my father told us so many stories of chaos and unrest during the partition so many lives lost during that mighty migration 💔 Sikhs Muslims Hindus all of us lost some of our beloved ones , beautiful work of your channel and especially master sahab such a noble person my condolences for Sardar Ji and also felt happy for him that his wish came true , we all should spread love instead of hatred

Migration during partition was so unplanned with no regards to safety and health.
Masterji enters the story unexpectedly to identify the exact location of tragedy. Without Masterji this story would have remained incomplete . I was thinking about stories of thousands on both sides of border where even the location of events remains a mystery.

I could not stop my tears thinking of the painful time of partition and how the whole peaceful lives got shredded ... my mother also migrated from Amritsar amidst of the chaos and very lovingly used to share her memories of Amritsar and I every now and then keep viewing videos of Amritsar ... i don't know but my heart keeps longing for Amritsar with tears in my eyes...

Love yours Chanel, Iam from Indian Punjab Gurdaspur District now in California USA. My Grandfather also migrated from Pakistan in 1947. Our village was Dhagowal I think in Lahore District. My daadiji told us lots of stories about our village Dhagowal, our black horse named kaalu & our gardens of fruits & vegetables. I wish I could visit ones in my life over there.
