Message of Loran Thompson

On behalf of our people from the Mohawk Nation, I would like to say or extend, our thanks to the Minister of Indigenous Affairs, Aloha Nunez, for sending such a gracious group of people, to come visit our people in joining together on such a beautiful day that it was.
We have a combined history that is so close, that we felt we were one in our celebration today. We really enjoyed when they explained to us some of the history of your people, and that it was so close to our history, and we look forward to work with your people on educating the rest of the world on the importance of safeguarding the interests of mother earth. That she too is alive as much as we are. So thank you very much again, for giving us this beautiful day. Thank you.
