I started a business with nothing to my name but a few dollies and some moving experience, and turned it into a functioning business that allows me to work for myself. I choose to work alone the majority of the time because I can, and with a little experience, you can too, if you need to or want to!
My everyday Equipment that I use:

    3.5” H Style Dolly

I always worry about telling customers that i will be doing it myself as they feel that they only have to pay labor charges for 1 man. i have to explain that the price is for the job not man hours. If you bring 1 guy or 10 guys the price is this! Have a good time in Vegas!

Yes, its a common situation because you always see 2 people with junk removal or moving, at the bare minimum. That's when you just explain the situation. Use moving as an example. In moving, they are charged by time, so for each additional person they are paying more per an hour but the job will also be completed faster due to the extra manpower. In junk removal though, its primary charge is by volume, so there is no time charge (unless you are doing a clean out). If i do charge time, I just tell them its $50/hour per person. So if its just me, its 50, if I bring a helper its $100/hr and so on.
