Awesome timing. I have an FJ Cruiser with 210,000km on it. Not sure if its wheels bearings or CV yet, but sounds like its the right km to replace wheel bearings. My FJC just started making a rythmic quiet tick.tick.tick.tick noise when i turn right corners (sounds like its from front left). Occasionally it seems to make the noise in a straight line when going over a small speed bump with minimal suspension travel. Not with long suspension travel or hard bumps. Could this potentially be a CV? My FJC hasn't done much off roading and no challenging off road.
240,000 K's is pretty standard for bearing failures, weak as, I bought 08 hilux from a mature age 4th year apprentice mechanic who reckoned the front diff was toast, so I took him at his word and bought a good second hand diff for $750, draining the oil of the alleged noisy diff was without any metallic evidence, further checking revealed the driver’s side rear axle bearing being the front noise culprit, these hiluxes' are like that with road noise, so now I've got a good second hand front diff I'm going to have to sell 😮 good news is the replacement bearing job only cost $220 for my local mechanic to change because I don't have a press.
Lets see it apart Anthony 😮
definitely time for new bearings.
Top stuff mate

Looks like the big nut has not been properly torque, after changed the outer boots
Yep pinion bearings sound like they're gone.
