The Delicious and Distinctive LA Taco Truck You Need in Your Life - Dining on a Dime
Вставка

- These massive tacos Árabes in Boyle Heights pack a punch. Eater Series Premiere.
There's not a lot happening on Olympic Blvd. south of the 5 Freeway after dark: it's a section of town mostly reserved for transmission repair places, clothing warehouses, and industrial buildings that are covered with those small squares of semi-translucent glass. But there's a family that works furiously, every Thursday through Sunday evening, in a steam-filled silver trailer on the corner of Olympic and Esperanza in Boyle Heights. It's the promise of tacos that are truly out of the ordinary.

I've been watching this series for like the past 3 days and it's already one of my favorite series on UA-cam. There needs to be more !!! It's so original, unlike the other hundreds of food series that show you the trendiest and most hipster places in LA, he shows you the real LA. The LA that I was born and raised knowing. Mad respect to you Lucas for showing small businesses with great food. Keep up the good work.
+Lucas Peterson , i love everytime you being the host, awesome approach
I love how lucas wraps his arm around the boings so no one takes them away lol +Lucas Peterson
Lucas makes me want boing in NYC.
go to queens, corona.
ive had boing nothing special
Props on Lucas' taco holding technique.
He holds it like its a Cuban cigar...
I used to not like this guy but the more videos I watch the cooler he gets
"Nothing better than a good boing"
- Lucas 2018, same man, same.
I don't know what Boing is but I feel like I need to have some asap.
Lucas you da man dawg

I think I watched every episode of Dining on a Dime thanks to Lucas. His voice has a calming effect on me...haha #crush
this awesome channel needs more subscribers and views! amazing content of mouth watering foods.
I´ve just binged the whole Dining on a Dime -series in a day from season 7. One of the best food shows in UA-cam (or TV) IMO. Great job!
Thanks for watching!
Hope this series continues. I'm hooked
big fan of this series, thumbs up to Lucas
Eater... you know all the best Mexican street hidden food places.... keep it up... letting us know what is best outhere...
you're so cool and handsome guy. hahahaaaaaa
wanna have that taco too
I need to move to LA to experience all this deliciousness.
Great vid! Lucas: What is the herb on top of the tacos and interspersed on the trompo? Looks really unique!
'There's nothing better than a good Boing" LOL😂😂
Boing de mango is the best pairing for tacos, you should try Boing de fresa, is not as good as mango but for me is a close second, better than guayaba. Great video.
lmao boing should hire Luca for some commercials
they're a mexican company that does some real interesting drinks
Dude, I love your videos, and you have no idea, we have a several flavor boing, we have: grape, apple, lemon, pineapple, tutti fruti ( mix of fruits ) orange, grapefruit, guayaba ( guava ), not only mango my friend!!! Greetings from Mexico!!!
I live only 5 mins away and I love the cemitas there
Boing is a native mexican juice and beverage factory, they have a lot of different flavors, you should try them, all of them are delicious.
I neeed this
My goodness, from the Lucas alone you have a new subscriber. But unfortunately am not happy that its 2 in the morning and I need a taco
Seriously I am in bed drinking water and dreaming of tacos at 5 am
No lo vas a creer pero hay más de dos sabores de boing. Hay de fresa, uva, etc. El de fresa frío está buenísimo 😌👌
yo +Lucas Peterson what's the name of the sick song at the end of the video? cheers from an angeleno.
Ahhhh go half Asians. Never heard of Arab influenced tacos, this was pretty neat!
+aprilshowers there are a lot of lebanese people in mexico. salma hayek is half lebanese.
That is really cool! Thanks orange moonglows
+aprilshowers places like Guanajuato and Puebla have a old established arab mexican communities , so some of that cross cultural culinary flavor is bond to be exchanged (and in essence arabic food and mexican is quite similar ) due to the older pre colonial Arab-moors/spanish history.
That's where tacos al pastor come from.
I believe there also called tacos al pastor or topo, because it looks like top. Never heard of it being called straight arabe, even the the inspiration came from them. If done right, it is my favorite taco of all!
Stupid spell check. I meant to say trompo, not topo.
+Efrain Flores In Puebla, Mexico they have tacos arabes and tacos al pastor. They are different. Different spices on the meat and different type of tortillas. Tacos arabes are delicious but I prefer al pastor myself.
+TylerR285 I haven't made it that far, to Puebla, I've made to Guanajuato and other parts. But i think Puebla and Oaxaca are my next trip down there.
What kind of cheese is this again? And is there a comprehensive list of the places to get Boing???? sounds delisious
It's called Oaxacan cheese. It usually comes in a braided ball like this at the market: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/a3/05/21/a30521ab17d6dabc36d73585b5943d38.jpg its pretty easy to find in LA even at normal grocery stores. It is amazing. Excellent for quesadillas. Kind of like jack and mozzarella had a baby and made it tasty.
n Boyle Heights is this? Cuz I live here, and never seen this place?
Anyone know the song that starts at 2:02?
y por supuesto toda comida que ha de ser exotica para mexico le hechan aguacate..... todo muy re-frijolado...
Lucas is an actor ... He was in Jeopardy but I can't find the video
Tsolmon Naimdii He was in West world too!
You should try those in mutton or young lamb meat! Up the ante..
As a Mexican, that cemita looks gorgeous!! The taco looks great but, in Mexico, we don't use flour tortilla. Great vid
+jcarlos100 In the north of México we use flour tortillas, you live in a cave.
+Korrozion I've been all over the north, from Tamaulipas to Baja and only in Monterrey I have had tacos arabes with flour tortilla. You should travel more.
Confirmed, you live in a cave.
+jcarlos100 true. we have pan arabe when we bring it from puebla, but even Pueblans in LA are already accustomed to the thick flour tortilla and don't want pan arabe. it always breaks my heart, but we can't bring product and let it all go to waste.
duuuuude im from sinaloa and we eat tons of flour tortillas, same goes for sonora
He holds his taco like a cigarette haha
reminds me of doner
I know this is an old video, but what song is used at 2:00?
Found it: ua-cam.com/video/L-qlbKWQxI8/v-deo.html
GUAYABA BOINGS ARE BOMB
Guava boing hands down!!!!!!!:)
Do you ever give a negative review on any location you visit? Its like everything you try out is great.
We generally do our research and pick places that sound good and have good reputations
that taco is tiny compared to the ones i get in the uk.
Basically a shawarma taco!
What type of meat is that? pork, chicken, lamb?... not one mention :/
+03studios usually pork , same deal with el pastor (pork and annas baby)
Lucas es mi hermano de una otra madre
Prettiest avocado in history
arabes the best
Hahaha no mms Nunca habia escuchado de tacos estilo arabe , se ven bueno
Rena R buenisima
Flour tortillas, Que la verga!!!
there are easily 10 flavors of boing
this truck is donald trumps nightmare!!
Misleading....how many dimes was that??? I thought this series was all about dining on a budget in LA.
***** I was trying to see if it was just $10....see that would make sense to me also.....
Sounds like you have to speak Spanish.
big fan of this series, thumbs up to Lucas
