Love Flashpoint fight scenes but SPL better storyline
Lots of awesome MMA scenes. Donnie really outdid himself using grappling moves instead of just kicking and punching.

Rewatch it recently and my go-to movie for any fan of Ip Man who hasn't seen other Donnie Yen movie. The car crash to tree to alley oop to sniper shot is the dumbest also sickest shit I have ever seen.

Anything Bruce Lee and Jet Li, Jackie Chan, The Matrix ( the first one), John Wick, Mortal Combat ( the og), Kill Bill 1, Eveything Everywhere all at once, man I have so many!
The movie Bart was 1st talking is "new legend of Shaolin" aka in the west, red dragon of shaolin. He played non-fiction chinese rebellion Hung hei Goon.
I'm not well-versed in fight movies, but of ones I've seen, my favorite fight scenes are in:
1. Chocolate (feat. Jeeeja Yanin. I heard she's been compared to Tony Jaa)
2. The Kick (also with Jeeja Yanin. I forgot the premise of the movie lol, but it has some of my favorite fight scenes)
3. Raging Phoenix (also with Jeeja Yanin lmao)
4. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (especially the one with Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi, you know the one)
5. Kill Bill.
6. King's Men
Ones i have yet to check out or Tony Jaa movies and the John Wick series
I promise if you like kingsman you’ll love John wick it’s just more bloody and ridiculous odds but it is a great movie if you want to see one man vs the workd

I’m so glad you mentioned Ong Bak and Who Am I. People always look at me crazy when tell them how good these movies were. That rooftop fight with Jackie and Ken Lo got replayed so much on vhs when I was a kid 😂

Japanese movies: all of rurouni kenshin movies were 10/10

Admittedly, I didn't get into Mortal Kombat until the recent game lmao. I don't know why it didn't really draw me in before, but i would only watch the fatalities and brutalities on UA-cam. I didn't even know it had a storyline for the longest time lmao. Something about the storyline and the characters officially drew me into it.

I think it was the director's fault because he didn't communicate a change in the stunt (i think he was trying to do some bullshit candid thing), so she wasn't ready and it fell apart completely. I don't remember which movie, but i think it was a motorcycle stunt. Then I just got reminded of the Deadpool 2 incident
